The fact that we got to meet several members of the clone rebellion just to lose majority of them in the same episode is just rude and heartbreaking I'm not okay

I love that Crosshair is the type that doesn't want the dog but ended up loving the dog

I really liked the “interaction” between Hunter and Crosshair. It definitely showed how realistic us guys can be with each other sometimes when we try to discuss things concerning our feelings. Especially since they were raised together as soldiers, which would’ve made talking about that stuff even more difficult.

Just to remind you that Omega doesn't have accelerated aging she ages like everyone else and speaking of Project Necromancer Palpatine has a severed hand in a jar being studied in his cloning facility on Exegol so there's a possibility that Rey has some Skywalker DNA due to Palpatine's experiments

First time I heard Crosshair chuckle that I remember was in this latest episode when Omega called him "little brother" and that's honestly effing amazing to me

Omega has the kindest heart. No grudge held, just love.

A single head nod can say a lot for us😂 it shows our emotions, just enough to communicate a certain feeling towards someone

As a guy, it's hard to talk ab feelings since we're constantly told "real men don't show emotion" we're taught to be stoic and never shed a tear, otherwise we'll look weak

Rex and co.'s base in episode 6 is actually the Monastery on Teth, from the Clone Wars movie/theatrical release, all the way back at the beginning! Pretty cool to see it again, and it makes sense that Rex would make use of old abandoned battle sites and bases when in need of sites for his rebel faction. The clone who got blew up by the thermal detonator was, perhaps appropriately, named Fireball. Rest in Peace. Scorch was the Clone Commando who activated the Shadow Trooper, and he seems to be in charge of the troops on Tantiss, but the clone at the end was one Commander Wolffe (dont worry, I can see youve told others you recognised him in the next one!), though he also has another Clone Commando with him in his squad. Also, it's still not 100% clear yet whether Omega has a high M-count, or whether she merely has the right genetic/biochemical markers in her blood to support Midichlorians, meaning her blood can be used for successful transfers of M-count. (Edit: Just saw you acknowledged this in your post-reaction comments, so never mind.)

I know you're further along than these in real life. I'm glad you're catching up. Because, as I said previously, I haven't really watched these until I watch them again with you. Thank you, as always, for the watch. (Did you just upload Coco? And, I see you all in tears on the thumbnail. Yep. Pixar has this knack of ripping your heart out. Omega trusting someone doesn't necessarily mean they are good.......Omega trusted Cid and Cid sold them out to the Empire..... Oh also that Energy Crossbow is basically a miniature Bowcaster, a weapon used by the Wookies and notably Chewbacca.....

I applaud most of the stuff we get in this show and think its done very well. However I wish we didn't get the monster stuff in episode 5, we needed more scenes with Hunter and Crosshair trying to get over their issues; however I understand that its quite realistic for some male relationships, especially with siblings who fight all the time, that words may not be enough, and that Hunter wouldn't believe Crosshair no matter what he said, so he needed to see him back helping, to understand him wanting to be in this squad again. Its a very good point you make about Crosshair patting Batcher. Batcher doesn't ask him hard questions, she accepts him for who he is, and with Crosshair being quite repressed, thats a way of him showing that he does care in the end. We saw that when he killed the separatist to essentially save Cody last season, in the first season after he gets his chip out how he's desperate to be with his brothers again, and with Mayday who he bonded with as they were similar and he saw how he was treated, which was his breaking point with the Empire. Its what makes him the most fascinating of the crew as you have to interpret his thoughts by his actions. I love that Rex's base in episode 6 is on Teth, harking back to the Clone Wars movie, and recently with Ahsoka's series. Those were more innocent times, with all those two have went through since.

Crosshair was my favourite when they first appeared in Clone Wars‘ seventh season. He was sarcastic and deadly equally; gear combo imo. I was butthurt when he turned „Good soldiers follow orders“ in the pilot episode of TBB and stayed with the Empire, but grew very fond of Tech over the last two seasons… 😢 Now I’m just happy he‘s back again with what is left of his family and turned ‚good‘ again

Scorch is from the video game Clone Commandos. Good game. I'm pretty disappointed in Scorch siding with the empire.

Episodes 6 and 7 go together. Also, episodes 10 and 11 will be a double dip.

I guess you forgot that the operative from last season killed himself using the dental implant after getting captured. Speaking of the operatives, I don't buy the fan theory that the 2nd operative in episode 6 is Tech. I think it would be a cheap move and way too derivative of other storylines that have done the same type of thing (beloved character presumed dead, captured by enemy, converted into a tool for that enemy, saved and restored by the power of love or just technology, with maybe the best use of said trope being Captain Picard captured by the Borg, becoming Locutus, who leads the Borg to devastating victories over the Federation before the Enterprise crew recaptures and restores him).

Batcher has definitely become part of the team as a support animal, both in the field and emotionally, mainly for Omega and Crosshair. Also, the scene where Hunter is lying in the snow on the floor of the tunnel looks almost real.

I love that Dee Bradley Baker voices Batcher, because of course he does.

The clones name was Mayday. I too get nervous every week. The way I look at it is this. The original trilogy was a small story focusing on Luke Skywalker. There are so many stories that could be told. We know Rex survives at least until the battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi and I heard somewhere that this series isn't the end of Omegas story. Not sure what that means but it hits that she survives. So even if they didn't show up later on it doesn't mean they all died. Is it too much tp hope they all live happily ever after on Pabu.
