The pass rush is realistic if you know football strategy all you gotta do is either shade the line to the lineman who is beating your tackle or run the ball more etc. ray had it covered nicely. Stop holding the ball so long. That would help you bro

I agree 100% about the fumbles, if you play to much on the sticks you should loose the ball if you get caught. The strip button is beast too, I caught somebody tryna spin and hit strip on the them and straight up ripped the ball out of his hand

I typically play the nickel corner or safeties dating back to madden 18 and now this game its definitely been the role to play on defense.

Great information...can you talk to your friends at EA about including the new Tight end hot routes for all teams and not just Kittle for Frisco..."iF IT'S IN THE GAME, IT'S IN THE GAME" for every team and not just Frisco....strategy, gameplay and coaching for everyone. Thanks Eric.

This is the first time in over a decade that I've got Madden this early in the season. I've been waiting for Baltimore to be free from Joe Flacco and his contract in game and in real life. Been a Ravens fan since 95 and now it's going to be for the first time since Jamal Lewis was a beast in Madden 03 to use the Ravens on Offense. CAW CAW!!

I needed this I couldn't stop RPOs I was using last year buttons for d line but the one thing I did notice was my player will be open can the defender will automatically speed up to knock the ball down

excellent tips.

This yr i recommend user - ing safeties abd calling man defenses. Literally playing rn abd do this on the kellen Winslow challenge bro. First play on d i use your tip, User tipped pass by Mccourty in the end zone, saved a touchdown.

Pass rush is way better this year. Still think the overall route running and Db/Wr mechanics could use a little more work.

also what was that jet sweep option play where you ended up throwing the inside breaking route on the left side? I've never seen that before. Or was it just a fake jet sweep play action?

Left for the line and right for the Lb's and triangle was for the db's was also in 19. Edit: on the d pad.

That recommendation of avoiding hit sticks is fine or whatever until you play face of the franchise and Jamal Adams forces 5 fumbles (yes 5 fumbles) because the AI ball carrying is useless

Yeah it's a bit much, although I guess I got lucky in face of the franchise because there were really maybe 5 or 6 fumbles the whole season playing with the broncos

Hey Eric: I saw that Jim Brown is available with a Twitch Prime subscription. I thought that was interesting, because Jim won a half-million dollar lawsuit vs. EA for using his likeness a few years back. I assume Twitch is paying him? (Believe it or not I watched Jim play against Lombardi's Packers in a '65 preseason game in Cleveland Municipal Stadium. I was 10.)

Are there any tips or tricks to fix Madden's broken physical mechanics (football magically teleports to midfield, etc.)?

Anyway you could look at the Vikings defense and some of their ratings....I always play with my Vikings....Last few years I've been ranked in the top 2000......Over the past few seasons I've always use the line to get pressure on their qb.....BTW this is all for online play.....This year idk I cant stop drags and slants.....I've tried everything but I'm not one to blitz every down.....My offense is so so but I'm really upset with this years game......Now I usually dont make alot of Adjustments on defense but I'm open to making a few any suggestions or help please with that also if you can not too big of a deal I just want help with drags and slants but if you have the time can you give me something that will shut down that cowboys run game cause I played every time against them online they run with Zeke.......Any help will help thanks

ARYA 8B I’m not sure what 2-3-2 means without context but phrases like 3-4 or 4-3 just refer to the # of Down lineman (defensive players with their hands in the ground) and the # of linebackers. Outside of playing it or like being around it you could learn by looking up like glossaries of football terms. The terms themselves (even the ones fans have no clue about) aren’t all that complicated, they mostly just refer to the positions, alignments, routes, etc. As for the formations all you mainly need to know is Singleback means the QB is right behind the center, I-Form is the same thing but there’s 2 guys behind the QB, Gun means the QB is a few steps back from the center, Bunch means three receivers stacked together, trips means three receivers to a side, Ace means 2 Tight ends on the field, empty means there’s no RB next to the QB, and pistol means the RB is behind the QB out of the gun. there’s a bunch of terms but hoped that helped

I jumped from Madden 17 to Madden 20, and I am baffled by the new pash rush, particularly the constant "early" warnings I get when manually pass rushing. I cant find an explanation online, anyone know what's going on?

Fumblings Qb are not realistic for QBs like Cam...They should have a safe run ability

@@o.t.t5172 doesn't work like that...Cam is a running back with the ability to pass, Mike Vick, so on an so on.... Tom Brady is a pocket passer he should fumble when he gets hit...Protecting the Ba still leaves QB with a high ability to fumble...

Aiden Cook bro, I’m guessing by that comment you have not yet played madden? Marcus Mariota fumbles every single hit stick or strip tackle, even if you’re protecting ball. It’s bullshit he should rarely fumble if you protect ball.

Utilize hot routes if you see that the coverage they are running cancels a route or 2, and if you see a blitz coming use your Rb and TE to pass block

Thomas was open on that play when he cut he got an open window in front of him that LB cant go through him to get to the ball.
