It's not terrible, but I've had a strained rotator cuff for the last several months. I can train, but it can really affect your mentality if you feel a little wonkiness in your shoulder. The worst part for me is that its not from training, its from working an office job.

I've been getting shoulder pain from burpees, just been doing curls, hammers reverse curls, work all angles of shoulders, rot cuffs etc and almost 100% better. Think this type of training sometimes it's hard to know when to back off and take a break. Recommend a good chiro who knows what their doing/osteopath.

i had to take 2 weeks off work pulling up my trunks up after a poo.. ended up lying on the floor for an hour in the fetal position practically in tears.. managed to manoeuvre into bed and stayed there until better 😅.. had sciatic on and off for a while.. started stretching and doing mobility training over weights and my lower back is much much stronger.. def interested in this burpee carry on. Thank you for your videos 💪🏻

Never had injuries doing burpees, however as a mountain biker that is a different story. Broken fingers, wrist and once pounced my kidney into a muckle tree that refused to move. That was the worse one, could hardly walk for a week.

Your form needs to be horrific to get injured with burpees man. They’re a very safe exercise

Reading the comments on here. Life can turn on a sixpence. Be thankful for every day you're able to train.

I too have experienced a corneal erosion. The morning times when opening the eye was absolutely excruciating. Terrible pain. To this day I'm still not sure why it happened. I still take eye ointment each night for it. Exercise related injury's would be both shoulders, lower back numerous times.

Yeah it’s a different level of pain. It’s actually horrific. Hylo Forte is a great eye lubricant which was a game changer for me

I hit 60 Navy seals in 20 minutes--and I think--because I've been hitting a heavy bag for near 32 years I had a 50 kilo bag at 8 years old and I never used gloves or wrist support, but I have a 70 kilo bag now. but I think the burpees made me much stronger and I broke my wrist punching it back in--I think it was last October. I was done I couldn't do a pushup at all until just a few weeks ago--maybe about a month... It was quite shitty.

I studied BJJ for 10 years, I did what was called "Vale Tu-Do" back in the day--it was before mixed martial arts had a coined name. I entered that ring at 15 years old, first fight, broke my jaw.. Well I didn't but this ex-Marine much older than me broke my jaw, I was told his ground game sucked, which it did, for me, I took many many blows to the face. The Broken jaw didn't put me out of trainings like the wrist, knee, and shoulder injuries did. Shoulder injuries are real painful. People think getting your teeth knocked out hurts, but other stuff hurts so much more--my sister and I were training BJJ and she jammed her knee directly up into my tailbone while I was in guard. I couldn't do a damn thing for several weeks without intense and horrible pain. And she honestly just lost balance--she wasn't trying to hurt me HAHA few people know that kind of pain.

Beard is looking better than usual today, also maybe you could do like forearm training or isometric exercises that don't make you out of breath

Does supporting the back help (belt/brace etc...)? Everything light/supported. Leg press, leg extension/curl, recumbent bike, bench row, bench press w/legs up like us old guys used to do it. Can you walk?

Nothing seems to help however the pain is beginning to subside. I’m taking a total break as it’s one of those ones that’s easily aggravated

Golfers elbow. Stopped me doing any exercise with the arm. No sudden pop. Just came on small then quickly got worse. Over a year now still not healed fully. Not sure it ever will. Better though

I had tennis elbow for a few years on both arms. The only thing that cured it was not exercising for 6 months during the first lockdown

ahh man I've started getting this.. in both elbows on the inside.. think it was pull ups that done it.. most likely shit form.. I really don't want to do nothing.. trying my best to do something, mostly leg and ab work but can't help thinking my upper body is missing out a lot and my gains I felt I was getting are now dwindling.. frustrating to say the least.

I had a scratch on my eye once and I could feel it every time I blinked. Unfortunately it couldn't really be treated and took months for it to naturally heal and smooth over. I know just how irritating that can be For personal worst injuries it's was a sprained neck muscle that put me out of pretty much all forms of exercise for a month earlier this year. With the neck injury, bending my spine caused tightness and pain, couldn't raise my arms above shoulder height, couldn't stand without pain or sleep properly or look anywhere but directly ahead and there was PERSISTANT nausea. Neck injuries are definitely the worst thing and I've had all kinds of cuts, bruises, breaks, aches, pulls and sprains. Had zero injuries from burpees other than an ego injury
