South Korean company which makes K9, Hanhwa can make it more than 100 in a year. K9 is unexpensive one compare with Pzh2000 and very accurate, easy to control and shoot. K9 can used in deserts, mountains, plains.

And why Krab is place 3? Its an updated AS-90 and will be replaced by the K9 on place 5. The ranking is bullshid

G6-52 went through actual war situations and although it's a wheeled howitzer it don't jump like the other wheeled howitzers. That makes it much more ac curate. See details at Jane's.

Info in this video is wrong. Polish KRAB does NOT use the chassis from PT-91. It's the same chassis as K9 from Korea.

It's not for compare,also to bi on one list. You probubly don't know that American military several years ago chose NORA MODEL M-21 on MAN chassi,Archer, Atmos, South Afrika howitzer (I can't remamber name) and some kind of their American made howitzer for testing at Arizona and in the end best capebilitas howitzer will replace M/777 towed 155mm howitzer. It was good fraud ,because they saw what is best in them,copy parts and make new product from American part of Germany factory Rheinmetall. It is unbulively simulare to NORA exept 10×10 chassis (Nora-8×8), same four spacers for stabilization,very intresting solution... All other western howitzer have diferent way of stabilization. Also France Cezar, worst in the video dosen't have even same full loader like Atmos,it need all five crew mambers to be out side manuly load howitzer and they take risks of counter artilery strike,that probubly killd them all if shel exploded near vehicle. Case where crew is not out side and whole time they operate from armor cabin is most important thing,so that kind of vehicles must be ševroleta level above those where is crew around vehicles!!!

While the initial KRAB SPH program had a modified chassis based on the PT91 Poland ultimately went with the K9 Thunder chassis after finding issues with the modified PT91 chassis. Just a small correction.

PGZ signed a contract for the production and polonization (based on a license) of K9 Samsung Techwin chassis for the Krab gun-howitzer. In total, 120 Krab howitzers are to be delivered to the Polish army (five squadrons of 24 each). As part of the first phase of the contract (2017), a pilot batch of ready-made chassis was delivered from Korea to Poland for the production of the first squadron. As part of the second phase (2018-2022), on the basis of licenses granted and thanks to the transfer of technology, further chassis were produced in Poland. Great choice because Samsung chassis is proven in operation, solid, reliable and modern. Keep up this way Korea.

South Korea is a bigger country and of course it will sell but Serbias Nora has sold much more then Archer and many others,there is the MGS Alexander but i dont know why its not in Serbian army it the best version but now the Nora NG will be made with 30 rounds +6 extra and more automation.

One correction, during info of Nora on the picture you have put the new model of Alexandar same producer but newer and better.

South Korean K9 had been upgraded to K9A1 and next upgraded version, K9A2 have been showed in England(UK) Dec. 2022. K9 is the most advanced howizter in the world now. US had been tested K9 and K10 in their country how they can use the M795 cannon and next generation cannon XM1113. I'm South Korean.

Probubly best howitzer but they put here also vheel chassis howitzer's that can't be at same level. And I don't know price of K9 older version,but that last upgraded one go up to 10 million if you buy loot of them,15 million for one unit. Maby I am didn't hear good,but I will find real price and change number's

As a career artilleryman, it is obvious this analysis was done solely based on open source statistics by someone with no actual experience in artillery. The analysis is missing critical aspects of artillery effectiveness while putting a lot of value on things that are simply not applicable to the modern battlefield. One example is the absolutely critical component: average dispersion aka accuracy. Soviet and now Russian artillery are notoriously high dispersion weapon systems with conventional munitions because of poor manufacturing tolerances. Historically, this was taken into account by massing large numbers of artillery to make up for inaccuracy, but on the modern battlefield this puts a huge strain on the supply system and makes the firing unit a target that can be taken out easily with more accurate systems.

Actually Russian artillery is very accurate. Consider US systems, they have to import their guns from Rheinmetal because the US can't figure out precision measurement, they still use imperial. They claim their own weapons to be accurate, but then state how they accidentally k**l 100's of thousands of innocent people.

No G6 … you know an actual artillery piece , used in an actual war , that was so effective and accurate it could prevent an opponent from deploying aircraft, move so fast it could evade counter battery fire .. and still would out range any modern artillery piece -- oh and dirt cheap in comparison to the rest …

the chassis couldn't handle the shock from firing shells. Krab videos' with old chassis shows it rocking back and forth couple times after shot. Anyway, the Krab is pretty much no more as the turret which is a variant of British AS90 won't be produced any more. So Polish bought K-9PL a month ago. In fact Polish gave away Krabs they own to Ukraine.

ATMOS and Caesar have no protection for the crew; they are completely exposed. So, in case of counterbat fire, they are likely to get screwed... Archer is by far the most impressive, but too complex...

explain how they are suppose to be in danger of any counter artillery when the Caesar can be hundreds of meters away when the first of it's 6/8 shells they fired just land on enemy position, it's an artilley piece, it's not supposed ot be in direct contact with the enemies, mobility is the defense

So you are saying that a battalion can look for the fire position, find the origin, deploy counter artillery to that position and send shell while, again, the Caesar is already leaving when the first shell is hitting the target. i'm not a next level expert, but the scenario you're describing is either naive or delusional ( especially if you consider it's russia in front, not an army that is known for it's reactivity and it's communication skill )

All the NATO guns shoot the same caliber ammo...so how can one really be that much better than another ? I mean, a .308 rifle uses the same ammo no matter the gun, so besides subtle differences, ones not really any better than the other. 😮

It's not about the size It's about the capabilities. It also depends on the length of the gun barrel, long-range ammunition which accelerates itself again in flight or ammunition which independently detects its target and adjusts its trajectory in flight. And also the vehicles are different. For example, the Panzerhaubitze 2000, by far the best in the world, takes less than a minute to get into position and fire and less than a minute to get out of there. It also has a few nice features, for example it can have 3 shells hit the target at the same time for more damage.

Why do I consistently see depictions of self-propelled artillery firing with a Turret aimed laterally instead of inline with the direction of travel... anyone would assume you have better recoil control that way?

Certainly battle proven. Crews loved this machine, as it could take OUT up to 100 targets and never get hit. No russian howitzer has done that. . .
