South Korea is building a lot more. Poland just ordered a 1,000 of them.

South Korea should have gotten #1 due to the cost. $8.5 Million versus $15 Million. It cant be that much better and you're paying double. If you want 100 of them that's $650,000,000 more. That could be spent on other military equipment.

This ranking seems a bit arbitrary. We should create and universal objective scale with sub-scores for each category (armement, sensors, protection etc.) and a total score.

Not possible, a large amount of the data you would require is classified. Essentially ANY comparison of modern MBT's has to be made with the understanding that much of their ACTUAL capabilities are essentially locked under various secrecy laws, and what we ACTUALLY know are the publicly available stats. For example, I happen to know the Challenger II is faster in reality than the publicly available information claims. I know that for a fact as I have been in one going faster than the public information claims is its top speed on both road and off road. We sure as hell are not aware of the full capability of any electronics, communications or fire control systems n the vehicles. Militaries do not tend to let the full capabilities, or weaknesses of their vehicles become public knowledge until AFTER those vehicles have left service....

there are no errors in the video, because india has the t-90s. the t-90s and the export variant of the t-90a, while the video talks about the t-90m. the t-90m and the latest evolution of the t-90 series. the error occurs when the nations that have the chariot are mentioned. in reality none of those nations has the t-90m, only russia has a hundred units. even the images shown in the video are wrong, the t-90m is only shown on 2 occasions. the rest of the images show some t-90 and t-90a.

This is the same video released by Military TV 4 years ago, but with an a.i. voice over. Word for word with the same imagery. Why?

Lovable kitty ... now even as A2A8 . Here's proof that you can't scale a tank infinitely. An excellent basic concept that has been continuously adapted and improved over the years. When I was on duty, I took part in comparison shooting ... there is no better all-rounder MBT than the Leopard.

Ich habe schon x Videos gesehen betr. Vergleiche der besten Panzer. Wie die Panzer ausgestattet sind findet man in Wikipedia. Jeder der vorgefuehrten Panzer ist so gut, wie die Besatzung ihn beherrscht. Somit ist eine Rqngliste irrelevant.

Send them to the Ukraine war field, and check which one will survive.

There is no such thing as an indestructible tank. Whats important is how the tank is used, and how it is supported. Stop looking at battlefield systems in isolation, they are part of a combined arms team. The best tanks in the world will be slaughtered if they advance on their own, unsupported by infantry or artillery into well prepared defensive positions. People need to work that out. 90% of what tanks do is infantry support, until you understand that you can never actually properly compare said vehicles, because you are clueless about how they are ACTUALLY used.....

@@nemssoss5807 Its the best for the French What many people forget is vehicles like Leclerc and Challenger II were specifically designed for the requirements of the French and British Army respectively. Which means that for the French Army, Leclerc is the best vehicle as it has been designed specifically for what the French Army wants it to d, but it would NOT be ideal for the British Army, because the Challenger II was designed specifically for British Army Doctrine. Real war is not a game of top trump cards. Militaries often have differing doctrines, for example, the British Army somewhat prioritise the Infantry support role of tanks, hence some of the differences in the design of the Challenger II compared to say the latest Leopard II's. All tanks have infantry support as an important part of their battlefield role, but the British do tend to prioritise it more than most. Its the real issue with 'conversations' like you see after videos like this, a bunch of morons who cannot get their heads around the fact that different militaries have slightly different priorities and doctrines, so are looking for different things in their vehicles and equipment.....

You still don't understand anything about the role of a tank ... the leclerc outclasses your shitty challenger tanks, abrams and leopard, it has a better mobility, a better firepower and a very good protection (the key for a tank to survive is to be mobile and moreover the leclerc can shoot in any circumstance on the move at more than 50km/h in any terrain and hit a target at more than 3km while the others can't do it . ..

Dude, I really don't want to interrupt you in your flow, but hitting targets while going full blast in heavy terrain at 3km distance is something I already as a Leopard 2A5 gunner. That was 20 years ago and several generations back. LeClerc is a superb main battle tank which matches the Leopards mobility, but does not outperform it. As for the rest, whether you like auto-loaders or not, etc. is a choice of its own. The follow-up shot with a human loader until today is way quicker with a good human loader. Continuous fire obviously is on the auto-loaders side as a human will get tired at some point. I cannot judge the protection of the LeClerc, but since afaik there is no iteration that includes a mature active protection system such as Trophy, he will fall short in that regard. I guess the optics and thermals will be on par between the two of them, both can do hunter-killer and both are using very sophisticated gun-stabilization and fire control as well as battlefield management. Firepower goes out to the Leopard, sorry to disappoint you, but the recent munition is just better and with DM10 it is way up there. I think if there is an iteration to the LeClerc, they will also introduce a weapon system that can use standard NATO ammo. Well, putting all that together I think they are pretty much on par with some high class goodies such as Trophy that the LeClerc lacks. Apart from that, Nexter and KM fusioned, and still the Leopard is offered for trials to other nations while the LeClerc is not. Things like that typically happen for a reason. If you had been in a LeClerc crew I do not want to take away from your pride. Again, it is a superb tank until today. But does it deserve to be on the top of the list? I would have put him higher up the ladder, but defo not on top.

If you want to know the qualities of the French soldier, then I suggest you look at a little Battle called Verdun in 1916.... Or the Battles of the Frontier in 1914. Actually look at WWI in general. The French suffered 1.4 million dead in WWI, just the dead. Not wounded. Not captured. Dead. And thats coming from a BRIT, we are genetically disposed to shit talking the French.... Go learn some history you fucking twat.

Russische Panzer sind schlecht. Wie ne Statistik von 08.11.2023 zeigt. Der t 14 ist auf Platz 5 und der T 90 auf Platz 10.
