The way they implemented the slo-mo seems to affect players’ reflexes/muscle memory in a really awkward way - causing them to whiff/miss shots/etc. It’s like those machines that make it impossible to speak continuously because it plays back your own voice with a specific amount of delay, that makes it feel like you are interrupting yourself. Could be a cool game mode if they started the slo-mo a little earlier, and left it on a little longer.

Agreed! The only downside is that every who is currently *not* playing the ball also has to deal with the long slo mo which isn't really fun.

as someone that played this locally with/against their brother a decent bit, i honestly liked it. it actually helped us (total noobs) actually hit the ball, but after getting better and not playing this mode for ages it feels very weird

I'd love to see SSLs play a full game in slowmo... And then see the game in actual speed... It's essentially just twice as fast reactions and movements, and at an already insanely high level, it'll be incredible

Damn good intro and I love to see what modes were in the game when I didn't play or heard of them. I do think knock out needs to be more in the game to keep it alive.

I think this mode is what every plat needs. In slow-mo, before every impact you can read the situation much better. Thus, while playing this gamemode you improve your gamesence. For ssl its just weird, because they can read game much faster then lower ranks do.

Yeah, I was not a huge fan of this game mode. The gigantic ball was also pretty horrible because it was so hard to score. The only mutator that I really enjoyed was Pinball.

I think it’s an ok concept. It could be used as an alternative to “freeze” in rumble. Instead of freezing the ball you could slow down an opponent or the ball.

It's fun because watching this video also slowed down time for me.

New gamemode - Gojo Ball Like this, but instead of everyone slowing down, players get slower as they approach the ball, until they become unable to move when they are pixels away from hitting it

Mutators was underrated af. Pinball was the best

I actually enjoyed ghost hunt, it was a harder mode than we had played before. It made the team work together and was goofy. The hardest part was that the ball could be cleared out of the "goal line" but that's also what made it fun and challenging.

Have a modder recreate the slowmo but there is no cooldown, if someone is near the ball, its slowed down for however long someone is near the ball.

I loved ghost hunt I also loved mutator mash up

I bet it would make a good defensive power up in rumble.

I know this videos about Timewarp but I honestly wish theyd make Knockout a full time extras mode, it was so much fun and without question their most unique game mode

Honestly the hardest part was collecting the screen shots. From there it was manipulating a program until I got the desired results.

I don't think I could've demo'd enough to scratch that itch

Is it bad that i enjoy time warm and sometimes use it with my friends in custom games with random mutators?

I'm not surprised it was a low scoring game, it totally messed with your muscle memory so your shots are worse and then gives the defender more time!

In my opinion that's such a cool mode, since you can think way more about your decisions and plays and improve the game sense thanks to it!😍😍

What if time warp was like player selected So only one player can do the time warp for a minute for an example: comp gets from start of the match untill 4 minutes, then landon from 4 to 3 minutes and so on and then the last minute everyone gets the time warp

I don't remember Ghost Hunt as that bad. I would prefer that over Cube

I'm quite sure the point of SlowMo was to look cinematic; like a slow mo shot in a movie.. personally I like the idea but it wasn't implemented the best. I'm not the biggest fan of the time restraint on it. If the slowmo happened when ever someone was really close to the ball (closer than the current distance) I think it would the game mode would be a lot more intuitive.

tbh i liked timewarp because it means that your normal playstyle aint good , back in the day you have to be a fast as fck boi kinda person to be good there

OMG! I guessed it was the Time Warp mutator before you mentioned it. That was gawd awful! Everyone would leave if it came up.

timewarp today I'd see so many silvers flip resetting on me haha. But I do feel if they fixed it up a little people now will enjoy it since everyone use to the game and know how to play well some not all.

Time warp looks awful. And so was that 3 wheeled car mode
