I play in oce but trust me 1v1s are just hard in general. If you’re plat and want to get better at ones just play a lot of 1s. Because when I was that low in 1v1s I would just do stupid mistakes like overcommitting for boost, or playing like I had a teammate behind me. So if you get used to playing 1v1s and don’t make huge mistakes you should just rank up

You should try changing sensitivity/deadzone your car movements and recoveries are a bit too slow imo plus you can't completely flipcancel try 1.50 1.50 0.07 (or 0.09 if you have stick drift on xbox controller) 0.70 or something around that

Yeah your not wrong, I think my recoveries were that bad in that video since I changed controllers, but I might still give those settings a go because I still have my moments of struggling with recoveries

Hey man, honestly it sounds like you aren’t doing anything completely wrong. But for your friends playing someone who is better isn’t fun especially if they’re getting smashed. I think all you could do maybe is rather than just playing normally and smashing them every game. Just really walk them through bad habits they’ve got and just tell them why it’s bad and why you don’t do it. Also maybe your friends aren’t looking to improve and maybe they just wanna chill or something idk 🤷‍♂️
