That is her standard operating procedure. She frequently asks questions and when the answer doesn't fit her narrative she very loudly reclaims her time, or announces "this is MY time" and steamrolls over the witness. There was a time when even republicans would not have accepted this kind of behavior, let alone condone it.

She's NOT a small business owner. She went under. It's funny how she stops the lady from finishing her response "Thank you that's not really what I was going for" but what she means is "That's not the answer I wanted."

I’ll listen to the MHA Tulane graduate rather than the high school dropout. Ms. Boebert is what they call “aggressively ignorant.” Director Young’s definition of inflation is accurate. I 100% bet my life that this is the first time the words “Milton Friedman” had been spoken by Ms. Boebert. Some 22 year old staffer researching Wikipedia came up with that one.

Not only is she ignorant, but when Ms. Young doesn't give her the answer she wants, she cuts her off and says "I'll answer that for you." I love how the high school drop out is schooling the Director.

Life is more nuanced than you can see... Even an unintelligent person can see a valid issue and attempt to make an issue of it. And even a foolish person knows that those that benefit from the creation of a debt eventually own the liability of it's creations. Just ask Argentina... It always amazes me when the left promotes pundits to say "debt,... It's only a number in a computer at the bank", and the whole audience ohhhs and ahhhs in the revelation... Mind you, environmental issues must be addressed. However you may find... With the debt ceiling suspended... This isn’t rocket science. You can look up the current national debt and how much is estimated per citizen. That is the information Lauren is referring to. Miss Young is lying claiming the national debt was only $24 trillion just a year ago. Currently, the national debt is now nearly $34 trillion. The fact people as ignorant as you defend people like Director Young is a testimony to the stupidity of liberal voters. Thanks to the idiots, such as yourself, that voted for Biden, mortgage rates have gone from 3% to 8% and the average price of a home in the USA has gone from $390k to $750k since he has taken office.

And as for whether or not one of them "went bust", that was likely due to the irrational Democrat Authoritarian COVID-19 "Public Health" policies which created a Recession, and the loss of livelyhood/ income/ property/ Homes for Millions of Americans. And it was all completely unnecessary as we have now seen.

I just don’t understand why EVERY time Boebert interrogates anyone, she doesn’t actually want their answers. She just wants a platform to push her own agenda and to say her own talking points. A pre-schooler was placed in an a locked room with 2 balls to se what she would do. She started rolling the one ball to try and hit the other and after a while, got pretty good at it. Lauren Boebert went through the same test. Within 5 minutes she had broken one of the balls and lost the other. When you are dead, you don't know it but you are still dead. Boebert interrupts saying "let me answer this for you" and proceeds to answer a different question: "what causes inflation?" Boebert is a slippery one if you're stupid enough to fall for her rhetorical slights of hand. Listening to Boebert, for me, is like listening to fingernails dragging across a blackboard.

She's had her questions & responses written for her. I don't know by whom but I'd say Gym Jordan. They're used to not answering questions themselves so whoever's feeding her what to say just assumes that everyone will answer the way they do. Remember, accusations=confessions with these people. That's why, when she got an answer, she just moved along & gave the response she was supposed to give. That's also why they won't allow witnesses who are trying to respond enough time to answer before they start yelling over them to give their definition to whatever they asked the witness to define. I wouldn't be surprised if she has an earpiece like they keep accusing Biden of having. We are talking about a woman who had to take the GED 5 times before she could pass it.

We have people who are a national treasure, and then we have Lauren Boebert. Keeps us humble whenever we are tempted to mention the idiocy of other governments.

I remember in high school learning about percentiles among test takers for the National Merit Scholarship Test, aka the PSAT. It frightened me to realize that for all the people in the top 20th percentiles of the scale, there's an equal corresponding number of people in the bottom 20th percentiles. She is right. You don't need a Budget if you don't deal with the climate issues as your primary goal. So if she don't want to do anything about the Climate, the debt do not matter, as there will be no-one around to collect it.

It sure would be nice to heard the rebuttal from the director, instead of Ms. Boebert‘s supposition on skewed data and (sort of information). Several times Ms. Young attempted to actually explain how the funding process actually works but was interrupted constantly so Lauren could get her skewed talking points (sound bites) on the record. Boebert is totally unqualified for her position as a representative of her state. She is like a high school sophomore going up against a college debate team.

I would agree. It seems that the people in these committees don't want to have their questions answered. They never let the experts speak, and always interrupt. They want to preach and offer their interpretation in to record. Not the expert witnesses. This video is another example of that. As Boebert says, "let me answer that for you...". She is one of three or four of the Republicans are the worse. Boebert is a failing business person, and this speech shows that she has very little understanding of how the economy or debit works. But they still put her on this committee. Really sad that this is what our government has come to.

Inflation, currently, is largely the result of corporate greed. This bears out in the fact that while people are paying a lot more for necessities, so, too are corporations reporting record profits. If inflation was primarily due to government spending in the current situation, those corporate profits would not be concurrently skyrocketing.

Inflation is due to money printing and reckless spending by the Government in addition to horrific policy during the pandemic. Corporations support the big spenders, so in that way they may be responsible but the fact there is more money buying less goods is on the money printers.
