This is at least the third time I've heard this bit and I genuinely can't remember which one is fake. It's so on the nose, I love it.

You know what gave it away? The dude being framed as the main character.

Every time Justin brings up hallmark Christmas movies I feel so exposed because I watch all of them and cry over every single one of them. I really can't help but laugh because Justin and Sydnee actually wrote castaway for Christmas basically as their sawbones Christmas episode.

Lord, its not an episode unless Justin sings terribly or mentions his Vas Deferens

I don't remember ever watching a Hallmark movie, but I caught part of one tonight and holy shit... it was all this.

The second theme is: white.

It doesn't matter how many times I hear this bit, the second verse of Justin's song always sends me

I played this with my darling mother within earshot I should have known better because Hallmark Christmas Movies are her Go-To pasttime She immediately felt Called-Out, but when I asked her _why_ she watches so many HCMs, she said "cause there's nothing else to do lmao" Then again I'm listening to these three boys rattle off plots to HCMs so I get it that's a christmas to me

Nostalgia for olden times is the key to getting people to be loyal to your brand after convincing them to come over, when there is now a better game in town. See also, the anti-home town store ads of Piggly Wiggly in the begining turning to appeals to the home town touch now that they are dying just as surely as they killed the full service grocery store.
