Thai Street Food: A Seafood Feast at a Night Market in Thailand

Street Food in Thailand: A Seafood Feast at a Night Market in Krabi Thailand. NEW THAILAND FOOD AND TRAVEL VIDEOS EVERY WEDNESDAY! Subscribe: / darrenb3
Krabi Food.
Eating Thai Fish, Prawns and Octopus at a Night Market in Krabi Thailand. Delicious Thai Seafood in Krabi Town.
This was a meal my family and I had at Chao Fah Pier Night Market in Krabi Town in Krabi Thailand. Chao Fa Pier Street Food Market is open every evening from 6pm till 11pm and its Google Maps coordinates are: 8.062749, 98.918991
The market is not far from the centre of Krabi Town and the Thai food there is delicious! At this market you can find all sorts of delicious Thai seafood and street food being cooked fresh. Chao Fah Night Market is on the banks of the Krabi River and the food there is cheap! The meal we had in the video cost 985 baht for the seafood and drinks. The restaurant area is clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly. And the food we had was delicious!
If you love seafood, Thai food, or food markets in general and you're in Krabi Thailand, I’d definitely recommend visiting Chao Fa Pier Market! Check out my channel for lots more videos of Phuket and Thailand!

There is so much Thai street food in Thailand and Thailand is known for being one of the best places in the world for eating street food.
Check out my recent video: 5 Thai Street Food You Should Eat in 2018 here:
• Thai Street Food Tour ...
All of the dishes in this video are very common as Thai street food, but you will also find them at Thai restaurants. You’ll find Thai street food on many street corners in Thailand, as well as at every market, be it in Krabi, Phuket, Bangkok or Pattaya. Thai food has taken many influences from Chinese food so you will find many familiar flavours. Thai food markets and night markets are some of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food while you travel in Thailand. There are loads of Thai food markets and night market all over Thailand, you’re never far from one. At the markets you'll find so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily since April 2012 in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!
Subscribe to my channel for my latest vlog and for more videos on what to do and what to eat in Thailand. New Thailand videos posted regularly about Thailand including Phuket, Ao Nang and Krabi: Places to see, things to do, tours, Thai food, Thailand markets, Thai festivals & culture, Thai street food, shopping, hotels, resorts, villas, restaurants, Thailand holidays, tourism, accommodation & Thailand travel. Visit Thailand … you know you want to!
Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.
If you're looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi's Koh Phi Phi Island.

I really enjoy yr videos, in comparison to all the other vlogs that are out there Yours give a flavour of everyday and settled life, instead of what the others show, which can be a bit 'grubby'/seedy, and not showing Thailand at its best

Yes, it is a great spot to just take it all in. Poo Dam then to there would be a great day afternoon, you could follow the walkway along the river to burn off some calories in between :) I hope all is well in Perth!

Call me silly but I can't imagine why octopus would taste different than squid...but clearly Aorn knows the difference. Tell her I enjoyed her speaking in this vid and her thumbs up with smile ...AWESOME. Little Ananda always seems happy to 'go with the flow' LOL. Havng camped on islands of our fresh water lakes and eaten fish fresh off the campfire skillet I fully understand whole or filets of fish are never better!!! The aroma alone is enough to make your mouth water. Wienies and beans are like dog food when you get skunked on the lake HaHaHa. Thanks for another family dinner vid, Darren!!! Everything looked delish.

Generally no, but I'm careful with what I eat. If I buy chicken and it is not cooked all the way through I will either microwave it for a few minutes, or bin it, depending on where I am. If the food doesn't taste right, or smells weird I bin it. In a recent video at a restaurant they gave us our plates and they were not fully dry. I dried them thoroughly with the tissues provided on the table before using the plates. I always check my plates and cutlery to make sure they are dry before using them. Also if a vendor/restaurant doesn't look clean I won't eat there. I did have an issue with some street food I bought a few months ago. After I took it home I left it on the cupboard for around 6 hours then put it in the fridge for 4 days. After the 4 days I microwaved it and had stomach issues about 6 hours later. That wasn't the food's fault, that was irresponsible food handling. I know a few people (about 6) who have got sick while visiting here and they all believe it was from their hotel restaurants. I eat what the locals eat and that seems to work for me.

It's difficult to peel a shrimp without a knife. We serve shrimps in Spain with head, body and tail but we use a knife or just peel them using fingers. They serve food in Thailand whithout a knife, only fork and spoon, but they serve food in big portions as in Europe, whe re we can use a knife with chicken legs, shrimps, bif fishes, and so.

nice food and nice flavour but only one thing that I learned from Chinese is when you had prawns like that just take a head off and then chop it in three then bit each in your mouth and try to pill the shell off in your mouth. the trick is to get all the flavour they added in prawns.:)

Hi Darren, love the moment when they teased you with the wrong fish before snatching it away again. Think that's happened to all of us. Glad you included it in your final cut. Also wondering if you speak in Thai when ordering food off camera? I'm assuming you speak English for your KZread audience which makes sense. I imagine a seafood spread like that would be a real treat for most Thai families. A lot more Baht than standard street food.

Yes, we found it quite funny :D. No, I didn't speak any Thai when ordering beyond what you saw. Yes, what we bought was around 3 days' wage for many Thai people.
