🇹🇭 Thai Street Food - 5 Noodle Soups: • Thailand Street Food -...
📍 Rad Na Pradiphat (ราดหน้าประดิพัทธ์ maps.app.goo.gl/jLutNDwUGiF9H...) - This generations old Thai street food stall specializes in rad na, a Chinese noodle dish with gravy, and also what we really came to eat; pad see ew (เส้นใหญ่ผัดซีอิ๊วหมู). Price - 50 THB ($1.36) per plate
📍 Thai Heng Li (ร้านอาหารไท้เฮงหลี maps.app.goo.gl/XNxDRKtfeXmzA...) - The next Thai fried noodle dish we’re eating is Pad Kee mao (เส้นใหญ่ผัดขี้เมา), or Thai drunken noodles. Typically when it comes to drunken noodles you can expect spicy, and full of pepper. Aunty has been cooking for more than 40 years, she cooks everything over fire, and her pad kee mao, and pad Mama instant noodles are exceptional. Price - 60 THB ($1.64) per plate
📍 Aunty Pien Fried Chicken Noodles (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวคั่วไก่ป้าเพียร maps.app.goo.gl/39oqzg2VJUNJq...) - Next up on this noodles tour we’re eating Kuay teow khua gai (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวคั่วไก่), scorched noodles, that they cook in a brass pan. Price - 60 THB ($1.64) per plate
📍 Suki Hiajo (ร้านสุกี้เฮียโจ maps.app.goo.gl/Pfjkqdz9DnVf8...) - This famous stall in Bangkok specializes in Thai style suki, both the soup and dry versions. Dry suki seafood (สุกี้แห้งทะเล). Price 70 THB ($1.91) per plate
📍 Wan Pad Thai (วรรณ ผัดไทย maps.app.goo.gl/Mh5up74MJa48U...) - Finally, we couldn’t have a Thai fried noodles tour without including the most famous of all Thai fried noodles - actually the most famous Thai dish of all time; Pad Thai! She’s been making Pad Thai for over 30 years, and she’s a true master of balancing the flavors and the smokiness in the wok. I ordered Pad Thai w/ shrimp (ผัดไทยกุ้งสด). Price - 60 THB ($1.64) per plate
We completed this Thai street food mission, all 5 Thai fried noodles, all in one day!

I love how he says 'season with a little bit of chilli' and every time its a massive heaped tablespoon of chilli flakes.

Mark is the true hero in Thailand because each time he recommended a dish, it becomes super popular which helps the small businesses. I am sure he has helped Thailand in attracting a significant number of tourists just to eat the food he recommends. I visited Bangkok because of his videos! I might be going to Bangkok again in 2025!

I recently spoke to an owner of a restaurant in Talat Noi who had a different view on foreign popularity. I said I have seen a number of videos of her restaurant and it must be good for business. Her response was she didn’t like it as it is now harder for her local customers to get a table. She said that her restaurant has families of 3 to 4 generations that have been dining there for over 50 years and now they don’t feel it’s the same. She has lost business!

@@asiandetective4998 There's always an exception to the rule. And many thai's also watch these videos. In general most restaurants would prefer more business.

Nice to see Gary in the video. He reminds me of Mark when Mark first started and was focussed primarily on Thai dishes. Shout out to Mark for always helping other food vloggers come up.
Khun Mark always cannot lives without chili flake and of course Khun Ying, too. I love this fulltime eater couple so much❤❤
Bangkok was the most organized city I have ever seen as a Turkish Tourist (who loves to travel )in the Far East. Apart from Bangkok, I have been to Pattaya, Hong Kong and Singapore, but Bangkok is undoubtedly the best.

I don't understand how anyone can hate Mark. It's more of a jealousy thing I suppose. I wanna eat a meal with this guy.
We Burmese are obsessed with Thai food! Can eat all of their cuisines, spicy or not. So awesome to see you do this food haul. Good work as always!!❤
I love all the authentic Thai noodles & even the mor modern one for the younger generation. Thank you for making this known. So, hopefully, they will maintain the older recipes. Thank you for all you do & we really appreciate you!
I've been following Mark for about 14 years already, and I can definitely say that he's so proud to live in and be part of Thailand people, because his enormous natural joy pops out even more when he's home. Amazing video, as always!!
To be a food blogger of Mark's level one has to master lots of skills... ❤
Mark I love all of your videos. You've caused this old American lady to love chilis. And I've always cooked but now try to make a lot of the dishes you show. Thank you and your family. My grandchildren and children love the food.

Yaay!! Mark is back in Thailand!! My favorite cuisines come from this beautiful country, I love stir fried in the smoky fiery woks. The combination of chillies, noodles, veggies, protein, fresh herbs, & sauces is a harmony of ingredients with a perfect balance providing significant flavors. I'm definitely going to enjoy this food tour!! My wife made Pad Thai last night so I was eating leftovers watching this episode & imagining I was there with Mark scarfing down a bowl of stir fried noodles 😂. Which made the my meal taste so much better lol. Glad to see Mark back in his hometown reviewing these delightful cuisines.😊 A'loy A'loy!! 🌶🍜🥟🥢🍻

My wife and I really enjoy your videos, Mark! You and your wife make an awesome team! Also, learning more about the history of the dish makes your videos more fun to watch. We not only like to hear how the food tastes and why it is good, but also we like to learn how that dish came about. There is always a connection and you help make the dish more memorable by adding that material. Thank you so much!

Brother in Spice. Thank you for a channel that just talks food from all over the world and stays away from all the politics. Watching your videos is a break from the depressing news cycle and reminds us that we common people are all the same no matter where we are on our marble in space. I've been all over the planet and been treated kindly everywhere with a smile and a "share a meal with us" attitude.

Thank you Mark, the food looked incredible! I especially love when you do the history behind each dish, brings another dimension to the culture and the food. Edit: Forgot to answer the question, I'd say Aunty Pien Fried Chicken Noodles would be my first choice to try.
Incredible. No 5 was the one for me too. I love the 'sprinkle of chilli'... That's an overdose to most humans! Amazing content from you two once again. 🙏🏽
