Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10+ years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
See any factual food errors in my videos? Please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY POV. It is not meant to offend any person or culture. Peace!

@@dlk3904 Do you know that Ramen was considered Chinese food 中華料理/支那麵/支那そば)originally in Japan? A lot of Japanese food are not originally Japanese. A lot of fried food, beef, curry, cakes…etc. Xiaolongbao is originally not Taiwanese food indeed. It is prepared originally. In Taiwan, it is not considered Taiwanese food anyway. Others that are related to China are just ingredients originally from China, but prepared in Taiwanese ways. Stinky tofu for example. It is just prepare differently that you can’t find similar flavors in China. Korea and Japan for example use tofu as ingredients to make their own dishes. Moreover, Taiwan has also food originally from Japan, but localized such as tempura(fish cakes in Taiwanese only), oden, a-ge … Others like flour-rice noodles(similar to some Chinese food from Fujian)are added with bonito flakes from Japan. I don’t see any Japanese claiming those food as Japanese. Taiwanese beef noodles are like Japanese ramen with noodles and some ingredients from China, but prepared differently. You can’t find beef noodles in China prepared as Taiwan’s ways. Claiming that there is not Taiwanese food is like claiming that there is no Japanese, Korean, American… food…
