If you’re looking for one of the best Turkish meat kebabs and barbecue restaurants in Istanbul, Beyti Restaurant is about as good as it gets. Started originally in 1945 by Beyti Güler, the restaurant is now a household name when it comes to meat - and he invented the famous Beyti kebab - lamb aged for 12 days and wrapped in fat.
I was very excited to try this legendary restaurant and I got a reservation for lunch. I had no idea what to expect, but I arrived and I received the most friendly hospitality and service you can imagine. Without me arriving anything in advance, they immediately gave me an entire tour of the restaurant (which is a museum on its own), and even showed me the kitchen.
The food was outstanding, and the quality of meat was on another level. After eating, they refused to allow me to pay!
Thank you to the incredible Beyti Restaurant in Istanbul. Highly recommended, the food is without a doubt some of the best Turkish meat ever.

I really really love turkey, I'm living in the Netherlands where we have a large Turkish community and thanks to them we have the advantage of great Turkish restaurants, I love turkey and the wonderful kitchen❤
15:08 thats actually special kind of lamb. (It's "Kıvırcık", it's known as the most quality lamb in the world, basicly wagyu of the lamb meats and it's only raised in a limited area of Turkiye)
My parents used to take us for a dinner at Beyti about 30-35 years ago! Always remember it as a special place. It was a lot simpler but still a luxury restaurant. There weren't many 'special' places like this back then. I also remember Gelik and Kasibeyaz near Florya also been really good.

Have to say mark, this is next level restaurant everything home made and nice decor. If i visit Istanbul God willing will be defentley try it out.😋
All the dishes had their own style for how they been and prepared for you ..all of dishes work very well together .
Beyti rest.is famous with its Beyti kebab which is my fav.dish in the kebab world.I still remember my visit this rest.around 1975 when i was a kid.

Incredible the amount of access to the restaurant they gave you. And they wouldn't even let you pay despite that you did not reserve with them to see the restaurant before-hand. Incredible hospitality. May they be blessed for their kindness.

My favorite meat restaurant in the world. The Doner when you get there exactly at noon, and get the "first cut" is by far the best doner i've ever had in my life. The place is a very special old school institution.
