Choosing where to stay is one of the most important decisions you need to make when you travel. On this channel I'm going to be giving you tours of accommodation - local houses and hotels, airplane reviews, and travel insights. Thank you for watching and click subscribe for more!

*I'm a full time food traveler, and while I mostly spend my time eating, one of the questions I often get asked is, "where did you stay when you went to ____?" So on this channel I'll be giving you walk-through tours of the houses and hotels my family and I stay at when we travel.

I made Fettuccine Alfredo once, and I made the sauce by cooking whipped cream and parmesan cheese, because that's what the recipe said. It was really good the first bites, but the taste was so rich and overwhelming that it made me feel sick really fast so I couldn't eat more than a few bites.

It's such a simple, straightforward dish. Why would I go to a fancy restaurant to order something I can make at home for very little money. I love this dish, and I make it at least every month here in the Bronx.

random history on GTC but not actual fact. just someone took the credit or a blogger in the past making the fake ties. there is no back story of GTC but made dish in the USA in one of the china towns to tailor the white culture taste long ago.

We went there knowing it is basically a tourist trap, just for the experience and to be able to say that we tried the "real" fettucine Alfredo. It was tasty, but why wouldn't it be? It is just fresh pasta, butter, and Parmigiano Reggiano. I can understand why Italians roll their eyes.

Italians believe in so much BS and mythology about their culinary history it’s laughable. And my fellow Italian Americans and others that go along with it are playing into that ignorant gatekeeping. Here’s one fact to burst the bubble: Spaghetti and meatballs is an *older* dish than carbonara.

there is absolutely nothing on earth as delicious, overwhelmingly generous, and so wholesomely full of quite so many life giving ingredients as an Indian veg thali, particularly in Gujarat and the South. this exquisite cuisine should be lauded as much as the Med and Japanese diets are, in my humble opinion. i wish i and my community as a whole ate this well as such a normal thing.

If I had to guess why Italians dislike it so much is because it's quite boring and basic. It's just cheese, butter, and noodles. Nobody in Italy is going out to dine for that.
