SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA - Today we’re going to Seoul’s meat market to eat some of the best beef on earth - Korean Hanwoo beef. And at this restaurant they specialize in water aged beef for 2 weeks and you grill it all at your own table. Let’s go eat some of the best Korean beef bbq!
We tried a couple of different parts of Hanwoo beef including the ribeye, oyster blade, and flank. They each had a different taste and texture. We also tried water aged and not aged. Water aged beef doesn’t give the beef a strong taste like dry aging, but it does enhance the flavor slightly.

Hanwoo beef is so unknown but definitely the best beef on earth
Enjoyed this video so much.. Hanwoo is simply the best beef on earth..it will make your Korea visit so special (Hanwoo is sold only in Korea)
Less then $240 dollars for all those water aged Hanwoo steaks is a really good deal. Enough water aged steaks to feed 8-10 people for less then $240 dollars seems cheap. A normal regular steak for one person here in the U.S. at a fine dining restaurant is between $35 to $60 dollars.

Water aged, its just a gimmick that probably doesn't alter the flavour of the beef.

I like that Korean food is entertaining. From the communal grilling to the bon chon to the drinking games etc - having Korean BBQ is a feast for the senses.
