Al-Baik is legendary Mark. In Indonesia, some reseller even imported that from Saudi and sell it online. Yup, imported cooked fried chicken then sell it frozen. Not a branch.

I tried Albaik with my mother and father in 2015 during our Haj time and I tried with my husband in Dec 2022 during our Umrah time it’s taste is MashaAllah very tasty. I wish I was born and bought up in Saudi…Saudi people are so lucky to be on the land of Prophet PBUH❤

Yeah... it's good to know real animals were mutilated to ensure you get actual pieces of meat... not the fake paste you get at KFC. Long live chicken pieces from dead animals.

I am a Pakistani but was born and brought up in KSA. Not many memories of KSA are still with me but Al-Baik is a taste my tongue ceases to forget. It's truly the best chicken in the world!

It’s success is because for every meal you buy they assign 2 riyals (70 cents) to charities and they’re huge on charitable foundations not to say they’re very cheap compared to other fast food chains such as KFC but 1 million times better..

I was born in Jeddah, now residing in the Philippines. I can taste childhood while watching you eat Al-Baik 🥲 I’m dying to eat this again. I didn’t grow up eating Jollibee so I hate dipping fried chicken in gravy. They have the best garlic sauce in the world!

Albaik‘s founder is a Palestinian and has a very famous and inspiring story. Albaik’s founder is the one who invented and introduced the concept of fried chicken with the legendary garlic sauce to the Arabs

For anyone watching this, you know that Mark likes what he's tasting if he does that head tilt with his eyes closed :D I never heard of this chain until I visited Jeddah on a business trip back in 2019 where a friend of mine insisted that I try it, and it was actually amazing! I didn't like the shrimp, but the chicken and the fish are to die for! Especially the spicy ones! I second what Mark said that it is the best fried chicken joint I ever tried! Props to Saudi👌

Al Baik is the best i have ever eaten. While living in Jeddah and having Al Baik on and off is a blessing.

I can confirm everything Mark says about Albaik hehe, it's really phenomenal place. It opens since morning in Madenah. It's probably the best fast food chicken I've had so far. Very juicy spicy and full of flavors. Also very affordable! Much love from Libya ✌️

I'm watching this while I'm fasting 😂😭.

I grew up on Al-Baik, its absolutely iconic and has always been so crowded!Infact, there used to be an al-Baik and KFC located beside each other and in the early 90's there was hardly ever a crowd inside KFC whereas Al-Baik was bursting at the seams. I haven't been back in Jeddah in 20yrs...this video brought back old memories. Glad you enjoyed it!

Why am I watching this whilst fasting?

Broasted chicken is one of the most popular foods in Syria usually it's sold alongside Shawarma, I literally had like 5 Broasted and Shawarma places within 200 m of my house, and when it's done right and fresh , it's the best possible version of fried chicken you can have.... and the Garlic sauce is the best thing ever especially with fries.

Those young dudes coming and saying hi just makes me marvel at how wildly successful Mark is. I’ve been watching his stuff for like 5 years or so maybe longer can’t really recall but back then nobody knew Mark yet he’s really the same genuinely nice dude. Congrats on your success and well I guess now you have to put up with be instantly recognizable around the world.

I have tried many broast chickens ....but the crisp and flavor that AL-Baik has is why people love this... Majority of fast food chains have 70% bread crumbs than the chicken they coated. Have tried Al-Baik everytime I visit Saudia and it never has disappointed with the taste and quantity of the food

Broasted is a trademark brand from an American company , you need to buy the machines from this company, to be called broasted, in venezuela we have it since the 60s . Yes it’s yummy . 😊

OMG, Al Baik - the iconic fried chicken and garlic sauce I grew up with. I just wish they had Al Baik here in the States. Fried chicken is huge here and I think Al Baik chicken is ten times better than KFC and maybe twice as better than Popeyes 😅. Mark, your food adventures are so tangibly vibrant and are mesmerizing. AlBaik was just in the western part of Saudi Arabia for ages so it was something special we have when we go to pilgrimage, but a few years ago it expanded all around Saudi

Mecca, Medina and Al Baik one cannot forget... memories for lifetime.

Albaik just got opened in different regions in Saudi Arabia, they used to be only on the west side. I doubt they will go international, if they do they will beat KFC

The funny thing about Al-Baik is that even when the line is full, they dish out orders very quickly. I remember, back then you were given a number with a group letter. like A1 to C99. but still very quick. hehehe. I miss this a lot.

That chicken with the chili oil in it looks so good we might have to try it whenever my family gets the chance to go to Dubai that garlic sauce is called Toum which is a staple of Lebanese cuisine.😁

When Mark san says “juiciest in my life” that means something to me. I’m now inclined to travel to Saudi, which I’ve never contemplated before.

here's how you can make a quick home version of that Garlic sauce if you wanna try it, it's Amazing with chicken Or fries: add to a blender : 2 egg whites a tea spoon of white vinegar or squeez of lemon 4 or 5 Garlic cloves salt then start adding about a cup of sunflower oil or vegetable oil slowly until you get the consistency of mayonnaise that's it. there are other ways to make it using potato or corn starch but this is the easier way for making small quantities at home, and they taste Identical.
