    I luv everything Texas.. I heard bout Texas Topaz..its supposed to be the hardest of the topaz.. I'd like to find one..I live in San Angelo n we have the Concho Pearl..I have a couple of Pearl's I found with my grandmaw n I cherish them like the Hope Diamond..lol

    What a great story!!I love it!! Lived in Texas all my life and unfortunately never even heard of Mason's topaz. I just today saw Mason on the map because of the weather and the flooding goin on. And wow, here they have that beautiful history to tell. I love jewelry and never saw that topaz before. What a talent that man has. So beautiful and the awesomeness of God's creations!!! Thank you for bringing us these stories!!!😀

    Planning a trip up there from Rockport. I've been making jewelry for quite some time back in northern MI. I used Rugose Coral AKA Petoskey Stones and Agates from the Keewenaw Peninsula of MI. Now that I moved to Rockport I'm using crazy lace agate and soon I hope to try my hand at some Mason County Topaz. Great video

    @@genaspiller5954 This is two years old and I hope you see this. Your grandfather did some amazing work. I'm 42 and can barely see as it is; he must have had eyes and hands of gold. My kids saw his video and I am taking them this weekend to put these old eyes to work. Appreciating this video.
