Tesla Optimus Gen 2, Unitree H1 and Atlas Dynamic - Best Humanoid Robots.

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Tesla Optimus Gen 2, Unitree H1 and Atlas Dynamic - Best Humanoid Robots. H1 is not just a regular robot but is also called "the world's most powerful, multi-purpose humanoid robot." With a height of about 1.8m and weight of 47kg, H1 uses a 15Ah battery to move flexibly without connecting wires. The 3D LiDAR sensor system and camera help H1 create a 3D map of the surrounding environment and move automatically. Impressive balance and the ability to carry 30kg are other highlights of the H1. Tesla Optimus Gen-2: Combination of Emotion and Performance
Tesla, famous for its supercars and electronic ideas, has come up with Optimus Gen-2, a bipedal robot capable of performing unsafe and repetitive tasks. With 11 degrees of freedom in the hand and the ability to move independently, Boston Dynamics' Atlas, while not a newcomer, remains an icon in the robotics industry. Atlas is capable of running, jumping, and performing human-like movements, making it one of the most versatile humanoid robots. Equipped with grippers with 11 degrees of freedom, Atlas can pick up, carry and drop objects independently. The latest video shows his ability to lift heavy objects and even perform athletic moves like a 540-degree backflip.

    Yeah but the Unitree robots are already ready to be shipped out for sale and only go for $90,000 for their best model and it gets cheaper from there. They also have an app for your phone to already begin using the Robot. Boston Dynamics will never get to that point. Their bots will probably cost 10x that amount that nobody can afford and they aren't even close to the point of making them public, let alone already have an app to start using it. Unitree is miles ahead of everyone, especially Boston Dynamics

    The undeniable number 1 is Boston Dynamics, second with a way to go is unitree. They are on the way but a far cry from BD. TOG2 gives animatronic vibes. stiff walking, solid based functions and a mirrored dance routine don't give me the feeling they can with stand a kick or uneven ground. It feels like looking at different robots in simalar packaging. I see gen 1, gen 2 and robot hands with a pressure sensitive surface. It's like comparing a Koeningsegg, a middle class volkswagen and a sloppy build kitcar.

    i would argue the tesla one would be very useful in war since it could handle any weapon a human can with them hands, plus it has an actual brain so to speak with its multimodal LLM, when you watch atlas doing an assault course, every step has been programmed by a human, and it will fail to complete the course multiple times until the human gets it correct.

  • @shankdiddy9045

    @shankdiddy9045

    atlas doesn't have a LLM, it isn't responding to things. It is just doing a sequence of moves preprogrammed. ... for me it isn't even the same device as what Tesla is making. robots using LLM's will ultimately be more interactive and give a more useful day to day interaction. Atlas could perform some set repeated functions maybe controlled by a high LLM or something... but honestly it is just a remote drone.

    @@arnel9221 All of the LLM models growth is so mind blowingly insane. So now they have LLM learning to respond to images and video as part of their LLM. Which opens up a can of worms that many didn't even think of or comprehend. So imagine a robotic device that overtime and thru interaction with people and situations gets smarter and smarter using the human population as data to earn tokens. At some point not only will it start to act human in all the most detailed nuanced ways that it may scare the shit out of you. Because that image in our head of a robot going beep beep boop beep pink boop etc isn't how they will feel. .... example... when we thought of talking to someone via video 25 years ago we imagined the Jetsons with a big CRT popping down from the ceiling to talk with people. ... but in reality it is small little device we hold in our hands... same with robotics.. the image of a that little robot from Buck Rodgers beeping and pinking and moving robotically may NEVER happen... it may skip right to robotics that act some insanely nuanced even in mannerism you may have to order one that acts more robotic on purpose... it will have us to learn from and evolve over billions of humans and trillion of interactions a second.. and to a LLM that is like crack to them to gain tokens and evolve.... ie we skipping right past R2D2
