15:07 for clarification didn't the infiniti have a mechanical back up which means its was not fully steer by wire? so yh they can claim they have the first production steer by wire vehicle... but semantics.

Correct the Infiniti did have mechanical back up for its drive by wire system. Whereas the Cybertruck is truly a full drive by wire system with no mechanical back up. The Tesla uses redundant motors and sensors for its back up.

The first one was a Mercdes B Class in the 1990s. They dropped it after 3 heavy accidents in germany.

15:05 Cybertruck is the first completely drive by wire vehicle. "Obviously you might have forgotten" The infinity Q50 also had a steering column so it was not completely drive by wire.

@@MikeHewitt But the ratio of steering was fixed, so it was more of a ginmic. Tesla changed the way of steering by being variable due to road, sted and other variables changing values. The Infinity was an analogue car, the CyberTruck is a digital one.

I love the fact these 2 vehicles are actually being made and are for sale. Pretty impressive stuff. What a great idea for a video. I would want them both as well.

Honestly, Tesla is for tech people, not car people. Mercedes and BMW make better electric cars now. So that's why Tesla is dropping price so fast. Also if you drive high end German then go into a Tesla it feels so damn cheap.

Elon dropped the price to sell more cars in this high interest rate market, not because any specific car company released a superior product. Tesla makes a high profit per car sold. Elon decided to prioritize selling more cars to a wider audience by lowering the profit margin per vehicle. As a result, Tesla sold more cars than Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and Volkswagen combined last year.

Only thing that a makes an electric vehicle more suitable for an apocalypse is that you don't need to have gas to run it. If you can manage some solar panels you can live with it for ever. That's why the cyber truck is better option here. Otherwise you will need to find gas stations in the forests.

Yes when I see people going of the grid for week in the middle of nowhere I always see them bringing solar panels. Just watch the donut video where they try to cross death valley and had to quit midway

@@drunkenhobo8020 that's not the point. i work with a ev and lot's of time the chargers are out order! my daily is hybrid, never had a problem at the gas station. the point is in a icev all you need is a couple of jerrycans and you can problably carry fuel for days! meanwhile in 2024 this 100.000$ off road deathtrap cant go a day without charging.

In the zombie apocalypse, grid power is down so gas stations with their electric pumps will simply stop working. Then you have to siphon from other cars as long as that lasts. Cybertruck just needs to go find a house with solar panels and Powerwalls. Why? Because the sun always shines and that house will produce electricity for decades and decades.

The Model3, a basic commuter car is typically compared to race spec Porsches. But yeah, this 800k handmade beast is cooler than a 90k truck.

People can mock this ridiculous monstrosity but the engineering and especially the steering system is an engineering masterpiece. This Musk guy may over promise as usual, but the engineers and designers in the trenches that have to make things work have delivered albeit late.

@xxr1nzelectrified I don't think this is an EV vs ICE issue. Newer Teslas have notoriously bad production issues. It's gone downhill so much that I had a coworker who had a Model 3 and wanted to upgrade to a Model Y for the space; however, because of how much Model Y owners complained about poor workmanship, panel gaps, etc he chose to stick with his Model 3 since it didn't have any issues. Fortunately, a lot more manufacturers are getting into the EV space. I'm currently shopping for a non-Tesla EV since I can't trust Tesla with all of the issues I've seen my friends deal with.

Yes, there was a sterr by wire car, but it was an analog car. The CT bis a digital car, so the steering changes with the speed of the car and other conditions. The "old car" had a fixed ration steer by wire, som it feel like any other car on the road. That was not the target for Tesla, it was to vastly improve the dring capabilities.

That door not seating is due to incorrect TQ on the door latch. Been fixed already

Infinite Q50 was DBW, but still had a rack and pinion for backup reasons. Cybertruck has no connection, but multiple backups for steering redundancy.

The Infiniti Q50 Sport did have drive by wire but still had a backup steering column, clutched out, just in case the computers all failed.

I woul use the cybertruck to go to Ukraine every day of the week. Abot 18 hours driving to the east. I would load some PV Panels to make my own energy if needed.

AutoTrader : this REZVANI monster looks the part and properly I mean :-) .... but it should have a the VW-s older 4.2 litre V8 BiTurbo Diesel with around 420 HP and 900 Nm of torque....that way it would go as a tank, certainly better than with the 6.2 gasoline engine, and it would have a sustainable fuel econoly for this size of a vehicle....instead now it eats probably around 40 litres / 100 km.

The cyber truck suddenly doesn't look so bad anymore 😂

I like the Rezvani concept. I just optioned one and it came out to like $600K 🙄. With an unlimited budget I’d still buy it 😄. Wouldn’t by the Tesla for any money with the exception of buying one and flipping it to someone else for profit. It’s got the build quality of used toilet paper and a totally distracted driving experience. Not for me.

I am so tired of hearing that the Cybertruck looks so different. It does. Or the size of it, has anyone seen a 4 wheel drive F250 or F350? Safety issues, my ass. It is just different which is not bad. I like it.

Nah...most car doors aren't that sharp, they'd definitely damage the carrot but they wouldn’t slice it off like a knife, tesla doors are significantly sharper than an avg car door

The Rezvani has a screen “to show you the road ahead”. That’s the single most pointless thing I’ve ever seen. Look up a bit … it’s the road ahead!

You didn't mention the price of the Rezvani, seems like a little bit of a bias video
