I've seen them live, and it can't be overstated how powerful the bass gets with both Tim and Chance. It shakes the floor, your whole chest vibrates. All the guys in the band are incredible. Adam Rupp did a Michael Jackson beatbox breakdown for 10 minutes and stole the whole show

Home Free is the real deal !!!! They have a country bent, but the sing all genre's and are really worth exploring more. I think you'll enjoy their sound. They also are pretty damn good dudes too...no egos !! Some suggestions....you may or may not like some of their originals. I know a lot of British folks are not so familiar with country music....please look up their cover of Everybody Walkin This Land & please look all the way to the end, and hear Tim Fousts message at the end, also look at their Helplessly Hoping - the harmonies will blow your mind, and they just released this past week two iconic songs....a collab with Don McLean on American Pie & just Friday in time for Valentine's Day When a Man Loves A Woman....Austin goes to his soulful self & brings out his R&B...it's unbelievable....They have such excellent musicality

Their cover of "American Pie" with Don McClean on it's 50th anniversary should win a Grammy. Their subsequent cover of "When A Man Loves A Woman" could equally as well win a Grammy. The Covid quarantine crapola has these guys going beyond "stepping up their game" but literally doing work that is without parallel.

Your video popped up on my home page because of Home Free! They are a great group of guys, and as you’ve seen and duly noted, they’re really talented! They are considered Country A Capella, but they are very versatile and sing many genres and make them their own! They stay pretty true to the melodies, but their voices and style bring a whole different sound to each cover. I agree with some of the other commenters here about checking out their covers of “Helplessly Hoping”, and “Seven Bridges Road”! I have my own suggestion, which is an original called “What We Need Is Love”. I really enjoyed your reaction! The Home Fries (their fan base name) will be bombarding you with requests! We are harmless (well, most of us are. 😂). These guys are humble, laid back, they love and adore their fans, and they can be very goofy at times! They are close like brothers and are so cool! Looking forward to some more Home Free in the future!

This is one of my favorite Home Free videos. Tim (the bass who had the first lead) is pretty amazing. He has a 5-octave range. They're all pretty amazing. You don't hear much of Austin in this one - he's the high tenor. And Adam, the beatboxer, doesn't have to work too hard in this one either. If you want to hear more of their harmonies, check out "How Great Thou Art". If you want a good view of all of them, one of their newest videos is a remake of "American Pie", featuring Don McLean. I have yet to hear a bad song by Home Free.

I just subscribed!! Welcome to HOME FREE HOME FREE is a county A Capella band that does more than country. Tim Foust, the bass, Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, Adam Chance (Chance) is the baritone/bass, since 2016, he took over for Chris Rupp (one of the founders of the group), Rob Lundquist, tenor and Austin Browm high tenor make up the voices of angels. PLEASE listen to more.. If I know my Home Free family well, they have already given you suggestions of music. LOL Thanks for the reaction

Home Free is amazing. If you love harmonies, this is the group. Try Helplessly Hoping, Seven Bridges Road, How Great Thou Art. So many songs. They are country but can sing all genres, gospel, R & B, pop. Pretty much anything and all ‘a cappella’ so they have a great beatboxer. Their most popular songs are probably Man of Constant Sorrow (from the movie O Brother Where Art Thou) and Ring of Fire (which features Avi Kaplan of Pentatonix fame). Tim Foust, the bass who started the song, has a 5 octave range so he can go super low and sing tenor as well. Try Misty Mountains with Peter Hollens (another amazing artist) from Lord of the Rings. Super low notes. Enjoy the journey!

This is a really good song to start with except the high tenor Austin Brown doesn’t have a solo in this song. It’s a rare event for Home Free. Their most recent release “When a man loves a woman” will give you a great look at the final piece of the puzzle for this group. The beat boxer is astounding as well. Welcome to the Home Free club. We are called Home Fries. Enjoy and I can’t wait to see more of your reactions to them.

When reflecting over the past 5 or 6 decades, I can only think of the Beatles where all the members sang the lead of their various recordings, although McCartney and Lenon sang the lead in nearly 90% of their music, although Harrison and Star did a few. Except of maybe Fleetwood Mac who had three main vocalists, nearly all other bands basically had a front singer, such Jagger of the Stones, Johnston of AC/DC, Van Zandt of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Owens of Alabama, or Perry of Journey for example, however, Home Free, aside from their beatboxer, who sings as well, all of the them are capable of leading any band because they are so talented. So, imo, HF has the most technically talented and richest harmonies of any band on the planet and because they are all lead singers in their own right, they have set the bar so consistently high for their product, there simply is not one video (now well over 200) they have ever done that is disappointing. Their performance is outstanding every time on everything the do. Your reaction to your first time listening to them, confirms and epitomizes the the quality of their art. They may not be a household name, but in my view, they are the greatest band I have ever heard vocally, with or without instruments.

Tim can hit A0 and at times G0 below the A0 during his lowest growl. His sound is unique. Unlike Avi and Geoff, Tim's voice has that chiaroscuro sound where you hear light and dark- making his voice sound like he is always vocal frying. That resonating voice. Simply brilliant. Then of course you have the rest of the group who are brilliant in their own right. Even Adam Rupp has a great voice. Having Adam Chance was a brilliant find. He was the bass singer for another group. Anyway, you sir are awesome and would love to hear more Home Free reactions from you. Helplessly Hoping and How Great Thou Art are two excellent examples. I want to see you do the group VoicePlay and their version of Oogie Boogie Song. The bass takes the lead and VoicePlay does great theatrical videos.
