scrivener is the best
I would recommend "Practical Techniques For Language Teaching" by Michael Lewis and Jimmie Hill (Thomson). It is concise and great for dipping into when travelling.

You might want to add a disclaimer re one having to be completely and utterly insane to buy all that when one will be on Cambly. Or even Preply. Consider the cost of the equipment as well. Lastly, the schools/centers/whatever one wants to call them should also have a disclaimer: Brits like you: I've got toothache. Yanks like me: I have a toothache. As some have noted, Aussies, Brits and Yanks aka humans separated by a common language. Can toss in the Kiwis as well. Whenever this subject/topic comes up I am instantly reminded of Robin Williams' character in Good Morning Viet Nam. Slip me some skin...
