WOW huge props to The Cleaner, never knew that bikes have the same electronic steering damper as modern cars nowadays, where the steering gets heavier as you gain speed. always caught me off guard since the weight of the steering changes drastically from fast to low speeds haha :D please, keep the series coming !

yeah electronic steering damper has made big impact for sportbikes handling and safety. for production model it started in cbr1000rr 2004 (hesd).

Yes indeed. Steering damper is a safety feature. In case of wobbling or tankslap, it will helps a lot.

I have a question for you and the cleaner, will a steering damper attached to the triple clamp and frame at the side work?it's fitted at the side of the frame below the fuel tank I've seen some small bikes like nsr150 and nsr250 fitted with dampers like that. Or will it only work if fitted across the triple clamp?

As long as the damper is restricting the left-right moment of the fork/clamp with the frame, then it should function correctly.

I'm not sure, but I think no? Electronic means it needs to be connected to the bike ECU or something like that, so unless your bike has the sensors and ECU for it, I don't think you can just plug in an electronic steering damper.
