One thing to mention also is that when you clutchless shift and time it wrong aside from the gearteeth the schifterforks can bend to . And cause false neutrals and heavy gear damage too

Yes, not doing it right will be bad for the clutch and gears, hence need to practice.

It has the same effect as using the Quick Shifter... If the RPM are low then you will have a posibilities of gearbox issue... However if you are using the clutchless shifting and the timing are not perfect... Then your gear will not engage... I had this issue when I was using the clutch less shifting where i wasnt able to shift the gear due to wrong timing while racing...

the timing for clutchless shift is right as you close the throttle, and before the engine braking starts, slip the next gear in. If you wait too long, once the engine braking starts, you cant slip in the gears :D at least thts how i do it. Ive done it at low rpms, mid and high, it works throughout the rev range , and definately easier in higher gears :D

i know it might or might not have a negative effect based on wht The Cleaner said, but still, its so addictive up to a point tht i feel guilty about doing so each time :)

iodineclip agree... The timing is the most importance... Once you get the feel... Then you can apply it anywhere...

First step is to find someone that owns a R1M, then ask them permission to do an oil change at 66SpeedBike.. I think the chances of that is quite slim, but if I can get that sorted I would be happy to make a video on it. :)

i use the clutchless shifting for my kapcai bike. yes, i agree it is much faster than normal clutch shifting. but, the timing is the most important part when doing clutchless shifting. if your timing is incorrect, you might gonna get gear slipping which means that, when you clutchless shift from 2nd to 3rd, then you blip,then change the gear from 2nd to 3rd but the timing between blipping your throttle and changing the gear is incorrect, you will go to the 3rd gear but, after for a few second, your gearbox suddenly will change back to 2nd gear. that what i experience if you doing clutchless shifting with the incorrect timing. pretty scary though..

Buddy... I believe your gear are returning back due to not enough load when we re shifting... It did happen to my LC... It get return to the arlier gear after few second... Then I started to apply a bit more pressure when shifting... And in the end wallaaaaa... Try this and do let me know if it solve your problem while blipping...

yeah, I think i did not put enough pressure to upshift to the next gear. when i upshift lightly, it does successfully go to the next gear, but after few second suddenly downshift to the previous gear.. Thanks for the advice !!

The answer will be... How you going to put in your 1st gear... The main purpose of a clutch is to release the load that been created from the cranshaft... Without this you will have a continues load transmitting down to your gearbox... All bike in the world are using clutch to allow your load to be remove for temporary... The only different, some bike has the autoclutch assy and some has the normal clutch assy...

Not necessarily true. You can blip on any gear as long as the revs are high enough and your timing is right.

Use scotter if u sux in fast shifting hahah... Just kidding. I tried before and yes it nice when u try to launch faster then others. Haha. Ride safe
