Targeting 40 Pound Striped Bass with Live Mackerel | Springtime Cape Cod Fishing Report
Спорт
If you want to catch huge stripers during the spring on Cape Cod, then consider using huge live mackerel for bait. In this video filmed on May 26th, a group of My Fishing Cape Cod members was fishing with myself and captain Cullen Lundholm of Cape Star Charters. We were fishing live mackerel weightless, and were able to hook numerous fish up to 44 pounds. For more please go to myfishingcapecod.com

Yes you definitely can. Check out myfishingcapecod.com for anything else canal related ✌🏻
I've never caught a striper and I'm dying to catch one. I bought a surfcasting set up tsunami rod and Penn reel. Where would you recommend starting to learn to surfcast? I've been studying as much as I can. Also I'd like to hire a guide for either a boat trip or surfcasting any that you could tell me about?

Starting this year in Massachusetts we have a slot limit of one bass per day between 28-35 inches. So yes, all the big ones go back now, which I feel is a good thing. 🙌🏻
High-grading lol jk
