    Lead Jigheads under 1 oz are not legal in Massachusetts. Why would they sell them from their shop on Cape Cod?

    Some would say that the spearman has the hardest job here but you’d be wrong.. the captain has to anticipate every move before it’s even called out

    OK, so... I don't understand how letting the line out 5 seconds at a time has anything to do with hanging up on structure. Can you please explain? Thanks!

  • @MyFishingCapeCod
    @MyFishingCapeCod8 күн бұрын

    That way the tube sinks slowly. If i let the tube out for 60 seconds straight, it would fall to the bottom and get hung up. By pausing every so often you prevent that.

  • @livenhfree
    @livenhfree8 күн бұрын

    @@MyFishingCapeCod But it eventually DOES hit bottom, whether you let it out fast or slow. Right?

    You people questioning why they are yelling and repeating themselves obviously have never been out chasing tuna or anything big out on the water, theres a lot of yelling and giving orders over and over just to make sure everyone is on the same page and you were heard . As for all the keyboard heros here i know the guy driving the boat and these two guys have been working together for a long time and both know that the yelling is just part of the excitement and making sure they are both being heard . If you think this is yelling than you dont ever want to go fishing with me when im on to a nice striper , i yell even if im the only one there . These two know their shit and are very successful in their craft

    They have no idea what they're doing. Noise will make the fish dive, any noise, including the throttle on the boat. Jog slow, leave the gas alone and shut up. Point the dart at the fish , the pilot will know where to go. Seen today big money fish lost out of not knowing what to do. My first was a mako shark. 3500.00. Over 500lbs in 1976. Block island sound. Then the game was on. 37 days on the Flemish cap, grand banks and further SW. Read the fish, and know what it's gonna do. Crying same the ppl that fished this way are a dying breed of fishermen. Long line technology and money is taking over. Great posy, ty
