Tangier Morocco market

Been in Morocco less than a day and found a market.. First time ever being in Africa and now exploring this amazing, interesting market.

The shop owner was actually super cool. He was warning the beggar not to abuse your generosity. The first thing you bought was three cans of tuna. The pricing is the same you would get at any normal grocery store around Morocco. He didn't overcharge you at all.

About English syllabus in Morocco! 1- As you said, Morocco was the first country which recognized USA existence, 2- Morocco is the first economical partnership for Europe during decades 3- Morocco is a cheer capitalist country 4- Morocco had always played with great powers diplomatically speaking during centeries being an Africa gaite, and has a long history.. But English is the most marginalized language in the county! Pupils learn it only 3 or 4 years before acceding to university, and the topic ESP, English for Specific purpose, c e. Scientific and technical or business English don't exist yet in different branches of university! Whereas they are some french bilingual speaking countries where English is not marginalized: Algeria Mauritania Tunisia Lebanon Belgium and Switzerland. Before 1990 pupils had learned it 5 years before acceding to university c.e. from mid of middle school, where sigle langage countries made their pupils learn English 7-8 years, and both country sets propose ESP at their students along their studies. After 1990 where many world changes occurred English syllabus had been increased. The few first set passed to 7-8, the second set to 12-14 years e.c. lowred it to primary school! In Morocco we should have waited 16 years to see a tiny change! They increased its syllabus by only one year, from 3 to 4 years and at the same time they decreased its weekly taught nomber in high school stage 😮. So what is the matter?! That's the Francophonie organization devil 😢 those Morocco government bow to 😔. Result: Morocco university teachers can't speak English. Just English of communication! Don't talking about ESP! Here is what francophonie did in Morocco, a cheer french speaking forteresse! kzread.info/dash/bejne/moiXt6uyhMnWipM.html

The food stores cannot charge any extra as it’s nationally fix price by law. While when you buy things of value from the market the rule is fair price since it’s depends from the artisan he made it and the time of work spent on it. So prices will always differ and need to be negotiated

Regarding the scan for the boy needing food. I never heard off and shop owners won’t tolerate it, he literally told him off when he tried to ask for more, he told him: he bought you one thing that’s it don’t abuse his generosity or I’m not serving you. I will do same buy them food but no money as they use it for drugs

Your imagination has gone too far! Considering the reaction of the grocer and what he said to that child! It is clear that he is really a homeless beggar!! As for those who practice this kind of scams you are talking about, they are often sub-Saharan Africans and much older! they do so after being stranded in the north, waiting for clandestine immigration to Europe...
