Tangier Morocco: breathtaking views and our favorite market vibe

Nestled at the crossroads of Africa and Europe, Tangier emerges as a captivating Moroccan gem that seamlessly blends history, culture, and natural wonder. This coastal city, perched upon the northern tip of the African continent, boasts a fascinating blend of influences, evident in its vibrant markets, intricate architecture, and lively atmosphere. Stroll through the medina's maze-like streets, where the aromas of Moroccan spices waft through the air, or venture to the tranquil Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean in a breathtaking collision of waves. Here, amidst the dramatic cliffs, stands the iconic Hercules Cave, a natural marvel that captivates visitors with its mythical allure and intricate rock formations. Tangier, with its harmonious blend of ancient history and modern flair, offers an unforgettable glimpse into the cross-cultural currents that have shaped this enchanting corner of the world.
Venturing beyond Tangier's bustling heart, the Cape Spartel stands as a serene testament to nature's grandeur. Perched on the edge of Africa, this headland offers an awe-inspiring panoramic view where the Atlantic and Mediterranean seas converge in a mesmerizing dance of blue and green. Amongst the rugged landscape, the Hercules Cave stands as an enigmatic spectacle, its ancient chambers adorned with stalactites and stalagmites, evoking both geological wonder and timeless myth. As you traverse the Cape's trails, the whispers of history and the salty ocean breeze intertwine, inviting you to embrace the mystique of Tangier's remarkable coastal tapestry.
We wandered through the city for 2 days. Went to as many view points as we could. enjoyed tea in the Cafe du Paris and ate fantastic tagine. Beautiful city and we LOVED our time in Tangier

Glad you guys had fun in Tangier. I noticed somebody tried to annoy you and your family while you were walking in the parking lot at minute 5 of the video. I heard somebody barking in Algerian dialect. These people come from Algeria via France and they can't stand the Americans' love for Morocco because the US supports Morocco especially after the signing of Abraham Accord between United States, Israel and Morocco. You may not be aware but this incident has been picked up by Moroccan social media. Can you please let me know if you felt threatened by this individual? In 1994 few Algerian terrorists bombed Asni hotel full of tourists in Marrakesh to cripple tourism in Morocco. The country closed the borders but they still come through France due to their dual French/Algerian citizenship. They simply hide behind their French citizenship.

Wow beautiful. Looking to go there in November with kids. The roads looked good. Is that true for most of Morocco ? Curious about roads near the Atlas Mountains . Thanks.

We drove all over the countre, 3500 km. The roads for the most part were great. We drove right through the mountains, there was some road construction in one area and some dirt road and pot hole parts, overall good though. My only advice is do not speed, not even 1 km over

@@teepsfam Hahaha, actually you can speed to below 10% legally, so 64 for a 60 and 86-87 for a 80, then it becomes less percent after 100. But yeah, don't speed is definitely good advice, because there are speed traps everywhere and you're going to pay for sure. Also, where it says STOP in the sign, STOP, don't just speed down to a crawl, the car must stop completely. These 2 are like 90% of tickets you get in Morocco.
