She sings beautifully and has a great voice that navigates the complex arrangement of the low and high keys with aplomb. A stunning vocal performance that stood its stead in the face of an orchestral accompaniment.

Who is this great singer? She sounds Americans but she must be Georgian..?? Great job! Georgia is smaller than most American states, yet the culture is so strong in music and dance, I love it!

What a Voice!!!

Remarkable version of this wonderful song. I love the crescendo "As sure as I believe there's a heaven above Alfie ... (then she adlibs the word) "YEAH" !! sends chills up my spine.

One of the most complex songs to sing. There are only a few who can sing this great gem which is written by the greatest songwriting team ever, Burt Bacharach (music) and the late Hal David (lyrics). A really asthonishing song.... a song which is also infinity.

I have never heard this lady sing before. Her version of Alfie was captivating, full of meaning. Her voice was great: one of the best versions of this marvellous song that I've ever heard. I would love to hear more of her interpretations. There are one or two criticisms in the replies here, but there's none from be. BRAVO TAKO!

I liked the performance from the very beginning. At first I even thought a foreign singer was singing so good was the English pronunciation. Then I listened many famous singers like Whitney Houston, Dionne Warwick and Chaka Khan and others. After all I returned to Tako Gachechiladze and already got convinced that Tako is the best. Only she shows the character of the song and made correct accents. Thumbs Up!

Both Whitney and Dionne Warwick knew very well every nuance and meaning of this song, obviously Burt thought so too. She does a lovely version here; it is also stunning.

Tako is the best! She dramatized the song, each gesture, facial expression, and movement on the scene says about it. Other performers sung the song also well concerning vocal, but they couldn't express the inside of the song, it's character. Their performance is inertly. Tako presented the song as a little dramatic spectacle. This song was written for her. It is her song! @@GloriaSangreal

Cynthia Erivo has the best version already. But this one was good too. But I find the Band a little bit separated or do not match to the lady's way of singing. But that do not mean that the lady is not amazing nor the Band too.

Indeed, way to busy. The writer of this arragement wanted to show what he can, but it turned out very different. He killed the melody and the girl needed to clean up his shit. A shame to treat such a beautiful song this way. Toots Thielemans told me: What you can tell with 3 notes, never use 4.

one more comment: the lyrics in this song (by Hal David) are among the most sophisticated of any American or British pop song, ever. I have a feeling that the lyrics and meaning of the song were lost on this audience who does not speak native English. That probably explains their fairly tepid applause. Maybe a translation into Georgian or Russian attached in the video description would help.

Great performance! Best by Far of this classic song not forgetting that orchestra! Conductor! Naturally talented singer!

Ironic that No one sang like this before Whitney or Mariah. Now EVERYONE does. Nice rendition. No one touches DIONNE WARWICKs version though.

She is excellent but....what is that strange echo?

I really enjoyed the singer -- very moving and interpretive. Some novel phrasing that even Dionne Warwick would admire. But I felt that the arrangement dragged a bit, and was too strings-centric. Need more woodwinds, bass, piano ... in other words more movement and rhythm. I therefore am neutral, and give it neither a Like nor Dislike.

Dionne Warwick has no rival with this one.

the conductor blocks the flow of the tempo, which harms the singer's interpretation. 

Catastrophic orchestra with strings out of tune, hard working vocalist does her best to keep the remaining debris together

It is a complex composition. She was not able to do It.
