I started playing Burt Bacharach's on the piano in 1969.I am now 70years old....and still listening to such a great composer ❤

That's What Friends Are For..is making me cry..we sang this together..in a booth in Niagara Falls that recorded songs.. John is gone now...how i wish i still had the cassette that we made back in 1987💔❤️❤️❤️

BURT (my favourite composer)gets well deserved credits , but i never say BURT without saying HAL , one of the greatest lyricist of all time .

@@ricardofarias3982 Hal David and Burt broke up when 1937 film Lost Horizon was a costly flop. Also some of the songs featured here were not written with David e.g. That's What Friends Are For and Arthur's Theme. RIP Burt Bacharach. Hal David too.

I think you meant "Period" or "Full Stop." "Point blank" means "from no distance away."

I grew up on this music. Ironically my dad looked very much like Mr. Bacharach and we were always having ladies ask him for his autograph. It got so bad that he just started giving them an autograph. 😂

Dolci e meravigliosi ricordi della mia infanzia! Ascoltavo la musica e canzoni di Bacharach con il mio papà. Mi sedevo sul divanetto in velluto stile Luigi XIV, accanto a lui, e ascoltavamo...da lui ho imparato ad amarla!!!! Ultimamente, la sera, prima di addormentarmi, mentre sto a letto l' ascolto...e ricordo anche il mio caro papà Ciao Bacharach...e ciao papà Sempre nel mio ❤️

So? I don't sing that well so they don't let me on stage. Get people who can sing the song. While I can admire a person knowing 4 languages, they need to be better in this professional setting.
