The guitar player is out of this world! So smooth, it almost sounds like he's plucking the strings of a harp! Phenomenal. And of course, Trijntje just slays whatever she lays her voice to.

BURT FREEMAN BACHARACH - Gone but never forgotten! "Alfie" - Burt's favorite composition. I was fortunate to see him many times and this arrangement sterling - Thank you Trijntje Oosterhuis. Beautiful and translucent voice as we remember this iconic and incomparable composer who blessed the world with his musical genius.

What a combination...and yet simple...no big band...behind...just a voice and some strings on a bit of wood...sheer quality...brilliant

Trijntje is world class. In fact she sings Bacharach songs better than the original artists, and they were really good -Dusty Springfield, Cilla Black, Dionne Warwick, Bobbie Gentry. AND this is totally live, no orchestra, no re-takes, but perfect. I doubt she gets the accolades she deserves. Go the Dutch!!!!!
