He said that in another video. Our two door was 225“ long. His would be 264. There’s no change to the doors or fenders to account for a 39” difference.

When you have the money you have, and sell a bunch of shoes from the GB convention you had signed. Then yeah. You can afford one of these. Lol. I'll stick to my budget ecto which I'm very proud of as I'm still putting work in it.

I bought an 87 Buick Grand National for $10K on craigslist from a guy that stayed in that same area you're in. Car had a bad transmission when I bought it, which is why I was able to talk the guy down to $10K but it was a very nice looking car, $30K miles, GNX wheels, lots of engine mods and all. So I took the car to cooksons transmission that you passed by and they charged me $1850 to rebuild the transmission and they actually wrecked the car test driving it. Took me 3 months to get the car back from the body shop afterwards, crooksons transmission is crap.

I love your passion and enthusiasm for making people's dreams come true to own replicas of epic film history. I hope to be shopping in your garage one day. I previously owned a 1969 Dodge Charger which I was going to convert to a General Lee but sadly had to on-sell before that came true. Maybe one day I will get that opportunity again. Would love to have your collection. Especially a Time Machine, A-Team vandura, 1966 Barris Batmobile and an Ecto-1. Great work VideoBob to you and your guys!

Hey Bob. What are your thoughts on turning a Classic hearse/ambulance that is not the correct year model car to make into an Ecto 1 replica? Does it annoy the collectors and enthusiasts of these hearses/ambulances? Would they comsider it a waste of one of these rare cars? Especially one with a story an special as this one with 30,000 miles from Mexico? Im not having a go, im genuinely curious. I love the Ecto 1 but im also an avid car enthusiast and can appreciate the original Hearses/Ambulances for what they are and how beautiful they present.

I'd like to see someone restore the old SFPD ice cream cart Harleys, a police car from the 1950's that would have been used in the movie and tv series Lineup ( San Francisco Beat ) and the 1940 Ford 1 1/2 ton van used in Ironside.
