Table Saw Improvements | Workstation Build | Part 1

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Welcome back for my newest video. This time i am making a series about my old table saw. Wich i will turn into a multifunctional workstation. This table saw series will be 5 videos long. Starting with a new table saw top with a much larger size. So that i can cut larger sheets of plywood without getting in tricky situations. After the modifycation i still can cut to a maximum of 70mm hight.
The materials that i used for my table saw improvement are:
1x 9mm osb size 800 x 1200 mm
2x 20x60x1200 mm timber
3x 20x60x760 mm timber
4x m6x20 bolt and nut

Enjoyed your conversion very much. You gave me great inspiration to covert my four-month-old Dewalt DWE7491RS Contractor Saw into a cabinet saw. I used flatted ½" sheet cast iron plate (thicker than most true high-end cabinet saws) 31½ x 44" (support with adjustable round steel tubes) to construct my top and hard Maple for cabinet. It turned out spectator. Thank you.

It's so refreshing seeing someone do this with true to life tools and materials. If I had a million dollars of tools I wouldn't be making this. Beautiful work with what you have

This is a REAL DIY project. Back to absolute basic in both materials and technique, love it. Great to see a young guy actually using a hand saw. Smashing series DSW, excellent.

Hello my friend. Good idea. A large table for the table saw. The improved Saw workstation will provide a very useful environment. Thank you for the nice project. I look forward to both parts. Thank you for sharing. Greetings....

Thanks mate. That's what i wantedvto do at first to. But the advantage from osb next to that it is cheap. It also has some jind of varnish on the top wich makes it very smooth. Plywood on the other hand is not. Thanks for watching 👍

Nice work. I'm here because I'm looking to make a few improvements to my own saw. I would fit a riving knife if I was you. Stops the wood from pinching onto the back of the blade and kicking back.

What a great video. I was wondering, I have a medium sized table saw on its own stand but I am considering attaching it to an old saw bench. Would this top still work on that? It’s a similar size saw to yours but its not on long legs. Just wondered. Again great video and now I am going to look at part two. Have subscribed 👏🏼👏🏼

What is the proper term for that L square with the holes in it you start using at 3:43? I've been needing one of those, but don't know what to call it so I can buy one.

I actually dissasembled my entire saw. And I think I can make it so that I have a top of 22mm thick plywood, but the problem is the raising of the motor, I have to make a hole in the top surface so the motor can raise all the way. Not that hard, not ideal either though, because that's exactly where you want the strenght
