    Can’t fault the work, but the one thing I would have done is have those boards up and strengthen the joists with cross bearers, ceiling joists are not as load bearing as floor joists.

    prv from unvented should terminate at much lower level, could be 95 degrees flying out one day. think its 150mm off ground or something. combination valve could be put above cylinder height or near top, makes future maintenance easy :)

    Nice install mate guy does some good work on the pipework just a couple of observations flue not to mi to close to soffit even though it’s end soffit and sealed 🤷‍♂️ cyl blow off can’t be curled back to wall specially over an open window should of gone straight down to floor or use a hot tun on it and into soil pretty bad if that blows off and that windows open also them bends on pipe should of just soldered them flush to wall pal also sitting cyl straight on floor if it’s got a 600 spread of joist and that cyl is sat in middle of them pretty close all the weight with no supports but risky other then that mate bang on 💪 see you e moved the hw pipes 😂lag the condensate 😂😂

    Great job on the installs but can I ask a favour, can you take out the audio on the video when your doing a voice over please and also some background music would be nice when you are working and there is no sound.

    Nice work. Gas doesn’t look sleeved onto roof. Also do you lag externally on condense and why the silly sets outside on the pipe work.

    Interesting job. My only comment is the location of the cylinder and floor loading. The position occupied by the cold water tanks and cylinder was more likely to be be on suitable structure (as they had not fell through the ceiling) and was likely to have been a better position for the new cylinder. No doubt the customer requested the new location. How did you satisfy yourself that the structure could support the loading?

    He’s not thought about it just probs shoved it on id of dropped boiler to right and lowered and moved cyl to middle 4x2 spraggs across joist and osb on it 💪 nice job though

    Is the floor rated for that weight? 300l= 300kg + dry weight so nearly 400kg...... seems to be asking a lot of the rafters....?

    Watched a bunch of your videos recently. You do great quality work and are extremely conscientious!! Just a couple of queries... I thought it was "good practice" to sleeve copper pipe where it enters/exits walls to help prevent corrosion and aid replacement in the future seems some plumbers do this others not?? Also in last few years I have seen/read reports of external copper pipes literally being cut and stolen, again some plumbers wrap or sleeve this in plastic to hide it (or advise the customer to paint it asap). What's the benefit (if any) for going with System Boiler in that case versus a Regular Boiler?

  • @cputilitysolutions

    @cputilitysolutions

    Thanks for the feedback mate. I always sleeve the pipe when going through a wall, regarding the external run it's a risk, but there was no easy way of running it internally unfortunately. A regular boiler would probably better if your system had multiple zones, and large span of pipework, then you can add your own size pump and vessel for it to match the size of the system. But for this system it didn't need all that so a system boiler just incorporated the pump and vessel meaning less external components to fit, and also being internal to the boiler they're also covered by the manufacturer warranty

    I must agree with paul smith cylinders should be on block board not chipboard .issue consumer with a full set of armour ,tell them not to walk underneath cylinder .nice coat hangers on gas pipe maybe you are wardrobe fitter .this work is a world away from urban plumber and other high quality heating engineers .I think you need to gain more experance before going out on the district and charging for low quality work
