Fitting an Ri years ago, the guy talked to me all day long. Lost focus and connected the flow to the gas. I noticed as soon as I started filling, but the water was already in. Next day I pulled the meter, emptied it out, vacced the gas pipe at the meter, repiped it and it fired straight up 😅😅😅😅

Got a call out to a private new build extension years ago. Customer reported a water leak. Builder was nowhere to be found. Thinking a tap / rad …. Arrived at property…. Water coming out of hob!!!!! How it held the pressure when turned off I’ll never know. Turn hob control on… water hits the ceiling.. turn off water stops!! Turn off at meter, cap it and report it (Corgi then), notification to water provider! Massive issues

Awesome job buddy. Loving the content. Only thing I would say is I would of used a 25ltr expansion vessel. Without working it out to deeply, I just use 1ltr for every rad. And find the nearest expansion vessel larger. But great job mate. 👍

I love a wiring job/fault find. Hate when they're all in wagos like that though. My brain gets all jumbled up 😂 I much prefer a wiring center even a messy one. You done well to just work methodically through that

Have one of this to do today but not sure if that’s the fault with it. It overheats and shows 100 degrees but still cold water comes out. shows e9 276 code Changed temperature sensor and check the flow sensor but the boiler kicks in when hot water is being used

The first video is just you talking and planning stuff out. Then showing the fitting after. Quite boring tbh mate. I think for more subs, you need to show more practical work, maybe a voice over to explain as you go along. Just my opinion.

Fair enough and I appreciate the feedback. I much prefer to film breakdowns where it's more involved, when it's install jobs I tend to leave the camera on the side and just crack on but I'll start leaving it on a timelapse or something and then voiceover like you suggested 👍🏾

I'd NEVER encourage anyone to attempt an immersion heater change like that, too much to go wrong! Like to see you try that on a Megaflow!

I couldn't have left that "wiring centre" in that state. My OCD would've been going off the scale. There would be a lot more engineers that wouldn't get confused with wiring if people just stopped slapping it in like this to begin with.
