Sylvester Hut & Lakes: Overnight Tramp in Kahurangi National Park
An easy but scenic trip from the Cobb Reservoir in Kahurangi National Park. I walk the well graded track up past the hut and spend the afternoon checking out Sylvester and Iron Lakes, before heading back to the hut for the night.

You really used your holiday to go hard core on Kahurangi. Most people would be content with one or two hikes, but it seems like you may have had three weeks of it! NICE! That looked like a nice walk, and the monster in the lake looked friendly,, all with a lovely moody sunset to finish the day. I'm excited to see what's next, and hoping that perhaps you made it to Salisbury Lodge, then Mt Arthur.

Haha I did. It was definitely a continuous tramping 'holiday'. Monster in the lake 😂 I did indeed tramp Mt Arthur area so that will be next. And it was unfortunately my final Kahurangi tramp this time round. Cheers for watching
