Swedish Christmas Preparations | Writing Vlog | Recipe for Lussekatt

Christmas will be here soon and I am slowly starting to prepare for the publishing of my fantasy novel! This video is nog just me doing a writing vlog. I wanted to show you come traditional things here in Sweden. Thins we do for Christmas. So I will give you the recipe for lussekatt, a traditional Swedish saffron bun and making my favorite Christmas hot drink, Christmas sap.
I look very tired and pale in this video. Do not worry. I am not sick. I just got the vaccine so I had a few days of bad fever. I recorded this video while I still had some fever. I am fine now.
I wish you all a lovely Christmas and a lovely new year! 💕

I agree with the self-publishing. Its just more fun to do it yourself. Also I never thought about how dull audio books are and now I won't be able to read one without thinking there needs to be birds! Thank you!

The stillness and beautiful cosy moments in the video is much appreciated , love your content and how authentic you are as a creative spirit :) I totally get what you mean about audiobooks being one dimensional sound elements would be a wonderful addition to the audiobook version of your book.

The beginning! I would fail too😂. I’m so excited for you about your book! I agree about listening to audiobooks and background sounds. Sometimes I listen to dramatized stories because they have other sounds in them that pulls you into the story. Maybe you can crowdfund your book on Kickstarter? That way you can have control over how you get the book made. Also the Keyharp looks amazing. I just got a Tagelharpa Cello that I’m learning how to play. Such a cool instrument. God Jul, Yule Blessings & Happy New Year🤍

Haha, it was so cold OMG! I love the dramatized stories they air on radio from time to time. With different actors and all. It is a really nice way of storytelling so I want to do something inspired by that. Great idea to crowdfund it. I did not even think about that. Maybe that could be really helpful. Thanks!

Haha, I can not understand it! People just sit in ice holes and relaxing. I am almost dead after my few seconds in the snow. 😆 Thank you so much! It will be so much fun to do the bathroom!

I love loneliness and silence, too. When I'm surrounded by my whole family several weeks, I need one or two days of calming down. I agree with your thoughts on selfpublishing. One of my books will be completely edited until spring and I will publish it this year, too. I participate in a selfpublishing course in two weeks, to learn more about the whole process. I don't feel good about the idea of giving my book out of my hands, into traditional publishing. It's exciting to know, that you might be selfpublishing this year, too.

Same here. I love to be around people but I need time alone just as much. Oh! Let me know when your book is out on the market! I would love to read it! What is it about and how long was your entire writing process?

Cottage cheese? Or was that sour cream or yogurt?

Looks like a smooth, well blended cottage cheese. I'm sure you can substitute it with Philadelphia cheese or something similar.

I used the brand Kesella. It is not sour or yogurt. The taste is mild and neutral. It is pretty thick. I think the english word for it is quark or cottage cheese.
