The absolute joy Sarah felt in just sitting in her new car seat is contagious. It's one reason I love this channel.😀
Those of us with foresters appreciate your struggles!!!! So we don’t have to go through it and can just order it correctly the first times 😁
I can’t decide which is more insane. That this is what Sarah does for a living, or that I watch ALL of her content, and I don’t even like vehicles.

A lot of work to change the front seats but SO worth it especially after you cleaned them. That’s going to be a unique Forester when you are finished

I’m sorry. Finished? When is a car ever “finished”?
Seats and interior trim looks fantastic. For some reason now, I must go out and buy noodles.
The "Gump" is looking awesome! Super smart to use the Forester rails to keep the height the same as it was.....really super smart.

Keep the lower Forrester piece of the seat. Changing seats makes such a difference in your car. I put BRZ seats in my 1988 200sx and Toyota 86 seats in my 04 Accord coupe.
I think the videos you create of things you do purely for the fun of it are among your best. You exuded nothing but joy, and even laughed at yourself over ordering the wrong part. 😉 As usual, the editing and music choices are Emmy-level… I know you put in crazy hours producing these. Take a bow! 👍
Original forester side seat moldings looked 👍
I would absolutely never ever underestimate you Sarah!
Pulling seats and cleaning under them is one of the more satisfying things you can do working on a car.
You are amazing, never boring.
You’re not the only weird person. I just bought a new truck and I’m doing things to make it more enjoyable for me. The stuff for the Gump is pretty cool.

It's always cool to personalize your car and make it just a little different than all the other ones
"Legends of the Hidden bolt" followed by after life Sarah is one big reason i love this channel! Yay Sarah!
I so love the comment you made, "Don't ever underestimate me". I don't think we do. I think you are so brill "sensei". What a worthwhile job on those seats. Wish I had your work ethic. Keep it up.
You are relentless 👍
So this what your week end was like. Fine job very productive, very productive. Feels like we experienced the high lights. Through the magic of editing production, about 72 hours packed into short of 17 minutes. What I did in that time wouldn't make for content anyone would care to see. Really enjoy yours as a divergence. Thanks Sarah.
Gawd these videos are so much fun to watch... Bonus is I learn a bunch of shit...
Sarah, I recently got a Ranger Tremor, but you can't get the black appearance package with the tremor. SO I ordered all the badges from the black appearance package separately. I disassembled the fender vent badge my truck came with, and then disassembled the one from the black appearance package, harvested JUST the lettering rom the black appearance package and reassembled my badge with the black lettering instead of the chrome. What I'm trying to say is. I get it. Because NO ONE will ever care but me.

Nice seat in your forester hope to see it finish you should winning a Grammy award for Best clear car details and keep doing a great job beautiful
At first, after seeing the seats side by side, I thought the originals looked better. I should have known, your OCD trumps my OCD by miles and you nailed it. I'm canceling the intervention. I await your next video. Love your attitude and penchant for perfection.
Let’s see a bolster test for the new seats👍🏻
Overboard? Yes! That's why we're here.
Oh quick tip, to stop the spread of corrosion, POR-15 comes in silver. Coat it on the metal with a brush corrosion will be stopped dead in it's tracks.
I must be a Brute. Our host brings civility for our craft. With my past projects I was lucky to put back floorboards. You replaced an entire interior!? I concede .
You are making the most of the Subaru. You are and excellent technician too. I love the humor, double entendre and low cut shirts!
Yea!! Forest Gump content!!
Yet another example of why your channel is just the greatest! Much respect ✊
hello, I could be wrong but check that the seat backs have the airbags accommodated as it should be. I seemed to see the labels inward and not outward. regards
Beautiful XTI in progress
Yes, go all SARAH on us, we need that
Sarah, you are endlessly entertaining. I'm glad I'm not the only one who sweats the really small stuff in automotive work. Thank you from NM!
Yay those do look brand new now they've had the Sarah treatment. I think stick with the Gump trims round the front seats wouldn't of noticed the gap if you'd not pointed it out.👌❤
Fender flares will look amazing. Love what you do and i wait every week for a new video. So entertaining
I'm sure many will agree when I say that one of the most admirable aspects of your personality which flows into each video is that you are not afraid to admit your human. You show everyone your mistakes and always explain them honestly and inadvertently comically enough to make me wish I hadn't taken that swig of a adult beverage right as your explanation is revealed. The world needs more people like yourself, your friends have no idea how lucky they are to have a friend like yourself. I don't give comments like this to just anyone,so stay who you are and please never change. To some you are that moment in a day that brings something other than the same ol-same ol.
I love the concept of modifying a vehicle with other OEM parts from higher trim levels or similar models with different desirable features. I'm doing that on a truck I own - makes people look twice and scratch their head lol
The perfectionist in you even added the diamond shaped vacuum marks on the seats. You're awesome. 😁😎
Nobody fiddles with a car better than Sarah.
I don't know why... but the seat cleaning was very satisfying to my OCD. Thank you, Sarah.
The white seat belt clip matches the outside white on the car

Add upholstery foam to the seat bottom behind the leather it will fill that Gap, I believe the Forester cushion is actually a 1/4” wider
It's amazing how NEW everything on your car looks. I mean, those seat frames. Brand spanking new. Those Recaro's look absolutely great! I wish I had noodles now.
The meticulous attention to detail, the fastidious need to clean, and the joy of accomplishing tasks are why I watch this channel. You are awesome.
Gump will be with you forever!
The way you say "I can't believe this is real"..... Cutest thing i have seen.......... I can't unsee it......
Your attention to detail is absolutely amazing.
Nice thinking on the height of the airbags, I don't think many would have caught that.
The new(ish) seats look great! Using the OEM rails to maintain seat height was excellent thought and work.
Wow, just wow. This is going to be one special Forrester!
The only weird part is that there are any dislikes of this video. Sarah demonstrated using creativity, sound reasoning and planning along with elbow grease to see her vision through. Well done!!! By the way, I think your 'Cup O Noodles' tee shirt is really cute/funny.
While you were vacuuming I could totally hear you saying "What? You thought I wasn't going to do this?". And then you did. I LOL'd
Nice update on Gump! Let’s get working on Grandma’s Ranger! 👍👍
The Gump is coming out really nice. Fast Wagons are always awesome.
There ain't NOTHING better than a Sarah model Forester !!
From the thumbnail I already knew you took them apart for cleaning!
you're doing a fantastic job there I can't fault you in any way and I'm so glad the MR2 is working great too.

I’d go with the STi trim pieces for your seats… might allow easier access if something falls underneath the seats and you have to reach from the side. My cellphone has slid under the seat in my 2013 Camry SE V6 and it’s super tight going in from the side, so I’d have to ol power the seat forward or back just to gain access.

Just soooooo awesome, great work! I don’t even care what ride you are working on, it’s your attention to detail that is awesome.👍
I wouldn’t worry about the seat gap. It will settle out. You would be proud. When I had the back seats out of my mini, I found a metal bracket that was unpainted and rusting. It had to be painted before it went back in, even though no one will ever see it.
I was a bit skeptical at first. But after cleaning those front seats, I agree that they look amazing.
Interior looking fabulous 👌!! That's some tedious work too.
You're the dopest, I love your style Sarah!
Wow, those front seats look awesome! And that cleaning montage was satisfying to watch. 😊
Another option is that it was just a salt belt car. My 02 wrx had the same issue, and the floor boards in the driver side also started rusting apart. It's just the nature of living in a wet environment with salted roads.
I saw that old stale Noodle on the back floor, you little One Upper! 🤣
Just a transmission away from F. Gump being a "Super Gump!!!!" Congrats on the Seats, Sarah.
14:14 ahhh the old spoof from that song by Billy "Crash" Craddock
Mr hump is looking great!!!
Keep the Subaru trim piece and start a "Sarah Fail Wall". Put all your cool stuff up there.
I love the oem+ look and feel of this car. I think it’s a lot art in the car community! Great work!!

It's sooo satisfying once each job is complete
Damn Sarah your forester is looking outstanding. Happy for you. :)
I admire your determination and bravery. Gump is looking really awesome.
if you cant find seatbelts to swap, you can swap just the one part out of the seat belt. All you have to do is remove the tensioner, pull the belt all the way out and it is held in the tensioner by running through the center with a loop and pin. once removed you can swap the just the seatbelt buckle and reassemble. Also you could get a sheet of foam and poke it behind the leather to fill the small gap in the side trim.
You’re awesome Sarah ! Love your channel !
Sarah, you need to build yourself a rolling work bench/table. Working on the floor hurts my knees just watching!

Very cool to see a happy Sarah!🥳😗
You're too funny! I love that pause with the grin😏 those seats are cool for sure.👏
The attention to detail you put into your projects is soooo next level! Great Job!
Your videos are so satisfying to watch because of all the detail and time you put into each part! I'm the same way, if I take anything off my car and its rusty, it's either getting replaced or sanded down and repainted! Keep up the great work!
Seats are sick!!!😝🥰👍🎉
Love the Gump Sarah and your attention to detail!!
Keep the forester bottom and add son black foam if the gap stays after you settle in . Leave the seat belts with the contrasting clip if it matches the headliner. That way it easy is see when grabing for the belt.
Awesome upgrade to the Forester. Can't wait to see the fender flare installation.
As a car person, to do a mod to your car and stand back and see it as well as feel it is such a great feeling! :D
Love the red trim.
I'd want the rear panel signed by Sarah just to hang on my wall as part of my "cool sh*t" collection🙂
Oh, goody! We're getting some rears!
Those red trim seats look fabulous
Sarah is the kind of person who would remove all the seats just to vacuum the floor.
Maybe already mentioned, but..... you can get round USB outlet inserts on Amazon super cheap to fit the hole the cigarette lighter outlet is in. Not an adapter thingy, an outlet that fits in a hole. I used a square one in my dash for the USB connections for my aftermarket head unit.
I can’t wait to see the video of your rear
Knew there would be a vacuum in this video as soon as I saw the seats.
That intro music is fantastic.
Thank you Sarah!
"Way-back-when" I did a similar swap with '04 STi seats into an '04 FXT. Swapped the heating pads, too. I still have a couple of side curtain airbags waiting to be discharged. Regarding the gap in the front seat trim, you could fill out the seat bolster with some eva foam. Low seats are for racecars, not street cars.
