Sarah on the Ranger: "I dont wanna half-ass it" Oh c'mon girl, we know you NEVER half-ass anything. You always go above and beyond with EVERYTHING YOU TOUCH!!
As someone who has been doing upholstery for 18yrs, thanks for saying what we do is not easy.
I like how Sarah actually gets multiple things done in each video instead of doing 2000 cliffhangers like all the other KZreadrs😂
One of the best tool investments you can make is a quality pair of hogring pliers, otherwise you'll get carpal tunnel in your wrists after one reupolstering job
You are so industrious and dedicated! That interior is sick! Plus a 6spd is so cool.
I'm more impressed with the upholstery work than the mechanical stuff!
Holy upholstery cleaning tracks on that rear seat upright!! That was impressive! Gump is looking great!
What a difference, given Gump a fresh look. Ps congrats on the increasing numbers on your second channel. Can’t wait for the next review!

My names forester gump. But people call me... S-T-I (read it in clint eastwood voice)
The bolstering test is priceless and fun . ☺
I did not realize you plan to 6 speed the Gump! that is awesome!!
Timidly: "Hope you enjoyed this..." Well, DUH!!! This is turning out absolutely beautiful... Your dedication and attention to detail never ceases to amaze me. It's very satisfying to watch. Did you find a 6 speed yet?
Sarah, your dedication to doing things right never ceases to amaze me.
Black headliner would really set the interior off !!!! Always an amazing job.
I love your patience and dedication. You certainly love what you do. RESPECT!
“I bought some trim” with a smirk. Nice!
I bought some trim once....I was 18, it was the 80's....I was stationed in W. Germany and it was legal......OK that was a lot to share. If I have my druthers I'll choose the small butt plug option for the initial experience 😜.
You have to be so patient to do this. Both the work itself and waiting for parts. Kudos.

Yes, very patient indeed 😬
Love your humor especially your lack of filter. Don't ever change.
It is such a pleasure to see someone do a proper work. Have work ethic in what they do. Absolutely refreshing!
1:29,,, “Vape cloud intensifies”, totally awesome, best way to get serious about keeping viewers interested is not to take the car stuff too seriously.
Bolt on jobs that work out are always satisfying. And regarding what you record and such, yes the content is part of it but its you the person most of us like to watch and listen to.

Exactly! Well said!
Sarah, absolutely love love love what you've done to Gump so far. Definitely what Japan should have given the US market. You're doing a great job on ALL of your projects. And don't beat yourself up trying to please anybody. All real car people knows there is a lot of jobs on project cars that is not fun and boring but essential to a build. Again you're doing a great job.
I have my Forester for months, only this time I realized back seat is reclinable! Thanks a lot! 😊😊😊
Bolstering Test is your signature move! Don’t downplay it!
Another Awesome vid 👍, that bolstering test, WOW 👍👍👍 great job!! 🔥
I love going back to these old videos of yours, yes everything you do is legit. You are bad ass, thanks for all the effort Sarah!
Hi Sarah, I love your attention to cleanliness and detail. You should be proud of your OCD, it has made you a KZread Star. All of your vehicles are immaculate and well maintained.
SARAH!!!!! (Looks great!)
Great video. As a former owner of a 2003 WRX wagon (5 speed), I’m really digging on the Forester STI you’ve created. Subaru should have been making them this way from the point they dropped the WRX wagon, imho.
Another fun one! I like the ones where you're working on cars. I think having your seperate channel for car reviews is a splendid idea. Thanks again for all your hard work producing top notch videos.
Great to see that the folding and reclining rear seats still worked when you swapped the foam and covers. Proves that hard work and dedication gets results. Thank you Sarah for doing these experimental swaps.
I actually feel happy when you do something that makes you happy. You really are a gifted car geek.
Great detailing Sarah, I agree those little touches make to difference, I love your attention to detail, Gump is looking awesome. 😊👍
WOW!! That looks great!!! Well done, young lady.
Videos like this are why we love you
"I need a bigger shop". I knew this statement would arrive, but I never expected it this soon!! LOL!!!!
The things this woman takes on is amazing 👏 Great job Sarah!
11:50 that eye roll lmao You're doing a fantastic job with this transformation, those seats look incredible in there.
Another pure awesome video, thank you Sarah. The new interior looks class, wish it was mine now :)
I’d forgotten how much I hated hog rings until I watched this!! My apprenticeship in a Ford workshop in the UK 25 + years ago involved daily replacing seat foam and trims on MK6 Escorts. We used to open the old rings rather than cutting them. We also discovered that very small cable ties (called zip ties in the USA I think) worked just as well and were much easier to fit.
Detail is unmeasurable. There is not anything you do to your cars that isn't stupid clean. Great work girl, as always.
It really looks great! I'm a fan of piano black… I admire your perseverence…

I was wondering what PNO black was! LOL
Such a minor detail but the piano black definitely upped the game and are perfect with those RECARO seats. Gotta appreciate the Lego strategy for car parts.
Muppet explosions are always traumatic! Hope you recover (no pun intended, really🤭) before PTSD sets in. 😎
Recaros are the best. Can't wait to watch you reupholster the rear bench.
I enjoy your videos; nothing's "half-arsed" about them. I hope YOU enjoyed the fruits of your labours with many hours of road tripping your Forester Gump.
Another classic Sarah video; amazing production quality, great technical content, and super attention to detail. Make sure to thumbs up and smash that subscribe button!
Awesome video Sarah! Nice Subaru forester sti update...the car looks better aesthetically already...all the best with the rest of the build!
The seats and badges look awesome.
Congrats on a pro quality job. The interior is outstanding. I have been discussing remote video editing with a tech guru, no hard drive handoff required still it's a dedicated job.
This is turning into a forever car!
Your commitment is by far one of best on utube you are one smart woman, just don’t ever despair on what you do,keep doing what your doing in life 👍👍👍😎😎😎
From the suspension to the seats. How friggin’ awesome the detail you go into and that you figure out *everything* about the stuff you want to do. Soooo cool.
Looks amazing🤠🤠🤠 touchless is a huge timesaver!!!
Gump is looking sweet! Don't stress about content quality - just film what makes you happy. I, personally, love the vlogs & 'cars & coffee' & event type content, but that seems few & far between. I'll take work, reviews, road trips, nerding-out-garage-science Sarah... whatever. Cheers.
Seems like the door cards might need a tiny bit of red trim to tie in with the seats. Looks great! The 6MT swap is gonna be awesome! You should 0-60 test it before you do the swap!
Details are everything! Looking great!
Love the attention to detail! You have a great eye for getting it right and making it look like it’s from the factory. Those seats all look brand new and drum tight. 👍🏻
Interior looks great, and the attention to the exterior badges. Looking forward to the fender flares.
What can't this girl do!? Sarah-n-Tuned big ups!! I enjoy all your content.
Sarah is obviously able to break down a car into atoms... Great Job! Greetings from Czechoslovakia! (Slovak in Czech)...
Fantastic job. That really looks amazing. One tip for the future, when removing emblems, use fishing line to cut the tape instead of prying the emblem. Then use a 3M Stripe Off Wheel (part number 07498) to remove the remaining tape/glue. It works so well and is great from removing tape pinstripes. You can get the 3M wheel from Amazon for about $35.

Using waxed dental floss works even better, or even an old credit card slipped behind it. I collect car badges at the Junkyard sometimes.
When I remove badges, I use a hair dryer to soften the adhesive and then cut through it with dentil floss. The trim removal tool made me nervous too...
There is nothing you can't accomplish! I'm in awe- from complete rewiring to breaking down seats to reskin them. Keep it up.
Super great mods! The interior upgrades look awesome
Looks amazing!!! I love your attention to detail and persistence!!!!!!!!!
Love the interior upgrades and thank you for the impromptu bolster wiggle :)
Wow! Excellent attention to details! Well done!
Wow, Sarah! That turned out looking amazing!
I really do enjoy your videos, the variety is really cool. Thank you.👍
Well done Sarah. All your work is top notch.
Damn! Forester looks great!! Always impressed with the work you do!
Interior looks great. Awesome job!!!
You are amazing! The seats look great. Keep up the hard work.
Ok Sarah… we’ve to talk! Saturday I ran my usual maintenance on my commuter, oil change, air filter, the works…. I’m finished, look at my engine compartment and, and , and START CLEANING IT WITH A TOOTHBRUSH. After a while I stop, thank Sarah for putting that crap in my mind and continue….. so a 20 mins affair turned in to a 2 hour project. But w/o honking my own horn, my ATS engine is clean! 😁 you see? That happens…
Sarah's excitement levels = 11/10!
Great job Sarah, very cool up grade on the interior 👍 👏👏
I love how thorough you are.
Awesome to see the progress.
I'm so in love with your forester right now!😍😍😍!Well done Sarah!
The interior looks awesome and I’m enjoying the gump series. Also looking forward to more MR2.
I appreciate your excellent attention to detail. You do outstanding work!
Great job as usual Sarah can't wait to see what you do with the Ranger!
It looks amazing! Your attention to detail, is one of the top reasons you're my favorite channel.
Amazing. What a cool project and result so far. Deep respect for your wide skill set.
Sarah....you are amazing...I love this conversion!
Bravo Sarah, Bravo. Not many people know just how hard it is to work with seat coverings. Not easy by any explanation. But you seemed to have pulled that off flawlessly. Thumbs Up!
I’m in endless awe of your engineering competence, attention to detail and determination. 🤩
Looks awesome ! Nice mod.
I enjoy your videos but I must say I am impressed with all your knowledge and talents !!
"Measure once, cut twice." Amusing.
The Forester is looking fantastic! Great job!
The interior trim pieces and seats look sick! Gump looks fantastic!
The Forester is looking great!!!
Gump looks great with all the TS trim! I'm hoping when I do the GG WRX wagon rear seat in my GF Impreza it will be the same as your Fozzie. Transfering to the old hinged base by cutting hog rings and re-gluing the foam.
Love your obsession to details!
You are bad ass girl, much respect and admiration for your dedication to hard work and your love for your cars
Sarah you should add your new channel in your description and your channel box on your KZread channels page edit: I don't know what it is but you're looking extra cute in this vid!
Thanks to these videos, when I finally have garage space these videos will help me do an STi conversion when I can buy one to convert.
For what it's worth, and for everyone's future reference, there is a hog ring removal tool. I used one when I reupholstered our old Forester. Saved me from having to buy new rings. Didn't really save much time over just cutting them, though. FYI, doing upholstery sucks! LOL My fingernails hurt just remembering it.
