    It really is cool to see a woman who knows about cars. Not only that, you are strangely easy to listen to - and I'm not just talking about your face/body - it may be the way you stare into the camera, your calm voice and your quirky honesty that make you surprisingly watchable.

    Sarah - I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the camera angles that you film from on you videos. I’m not a professional videographer or anything, I just love working on my cars and watching other folks of similar passion work on theirs. But the camera angles that you shoot from provide enormous value added perspective. You must spend lots of time thinking about how best to shoot the activity and I just wanted you to know that it is not wasted, at least on me. Bravo!

    Sarah, your perseverance amazes me. You run into these problems and just plow ahead. Yes, you get frustrated but you keep going. I just had a $5 part break on my diesel, and with Amazons new slow shipping, I’m without a 4 wheeled conveyance for possibly 3 weeks. I’m so mad that I couldn’t keep going like you do.

    There is no doubt that it isn't just the content of your videos, although they are always diverse, informative and interesting as well as loadsa fun, it is how you put them together, how you're not afraid to come up against problems to be tackled which (selfishly for us), means we get more than one video (heh!), it is also a joy to not only see videos where the KZreadr never has a challenge. Oh and it's great having your fab self in video after video (again selfishly for us), be all you are, we need nothing more and keep letting us into your life through your garage door (not a euphemism), Peaceout you spectacular person you Sarah.

    Nice to see a youtuber explain to the masses why LEDs in a halogen housing "are bad, mkay", thanks for spreading the word Sarah! Love proper retrofits ^_^

  • @compasteedee

    @compasteedee

    4 жыл бұрын

    Except it is not true. If you buy decent quality LED's and do your research, their spread and pattern is all but a perfect match to a halogen headlight. The filament of a halogen bulb is set in a very specific location, and if an LED bulb can match that rather than randomly casting as much light as possible in any direction, and is aimed properly (most decent LED's can rotate on the mount) it won't blind oncoming traffic. But cheap/poorly designed (most still are in this category too) then they'll blind people. The only worse replacement to a halogen bulb than a bad LED is a HID, which is never appropriate in a halogen reflector.

    I've been there and done that headlamp disassembly job in order to polish the insides of the clear lenses due to heat spots on my 2006 HID bulbs. (factory). In the end, the labor might have negated the value of the final result. Heating was the only effective way to get complete access to the lense internals. I was happy with the results after the aggravation finally faded from my memory. Never again!
