Regular car reviews are fine with me. As cool as the exotic cars are, I’m never going to own one so I’d rather see ones that are in my universe.

regular cars in the US are quiet exotic cars in Europe...most of the cars on this channel aren't even available here- including that Nissan...or about any of the trucks... or the Camry Doug DeMuro keeps talking about...

Amen to that. There are thousand KZread channels for exotic, expensive, unrealistic cars, but we are the 99% who drive normal cars and trucks.

@@carkulturez Depressing or just being realistic and practical. I am never going to buy a $100,000+ car. I’d rather make sure my family is taken care of. It’s fun to drool over that sleek and sexy sports car but I have no desire to own one. There’s actually someone who owns a Lamborghini in my suburbanarea. I see him zooming from one stop light to the next. That seems like a waste of a beautiful car to me.

I also upgraded my 2018 Forester front and rear brakes into Brembo GTS 6 pots front and GT4 for the rear. 2 piece 355mm Brembo rotors front n rear. Wheels i chose 18x8J TSW Nurburgring with +35 offset. Wheels camber -1.3 front and -1 for the rear. Suspension is Cusco Touring A with STi slightly lowered pink springs. Cusco undercarriage power braces front n rear as well.

The factory code will give you both base and Pearl coat when you plug it into the mixing computer. There’s just different variances. Their are so many different Variables that can cause different shades of the same color, from the different chemical dye Lots when the toners actually made to paint fade due to the sun. Ive been in paint and body professionally for 26 years. I love painting more then bodywork lol.

I worked for O'Reilly Auto mixing automotive paints for them. I completely understand the problem with color matching. I also understand all the lingo they were using. Tri-stage paints are the hardest of all to match other than custom blends.

Really liked the drive-through park you found. If I'm ever in Tuscon I'll have to check it out. As for Liz, I have no doubt you'll come up with something nifty.

This video was super informative.

My Kia Stinger has a tri-color paint job from factory & this is very true, found this out after it was side-swiped a month ago.

Reminds me of when B is for Build tried to repaint a door on a white BMW with just the paint code and yeah it was super obvious once you saw the panels side by side

When I used to paint cars/motorcycles for a living whenever it was a pearl color we usually blended into adjacent panels or recommended a complete respray due to some of the paints that are used in other countries aren't legal to use here in the US and therefore almost impossible to get a perfect match.

Take Liz for a cruise in Dos. You two are hysterical. Lol I thought karts on that steep winding road too.

I mixed paint 'back when'. It was easier when it was lacquer, acrylic or imron. Seat belts are branding irons in hot weather!

Sarah I would love to see you do a review on a 2020 Dodge Challenger scat pack 6 speed

I ordered painted body panels on line (bumper cover and fenders, 66% less than the dealer). I provided my paint code and it was a close match, but after 10 years in the Canadian elements and I could see a slight difference in colour, but my neighbours couldn’t. So I consider it a success!

It might be cause I live in Tucson too but this video was super entertaining! 🤙

you also have to look into the pressures that you're spraying it and along how many coats you spray at thosew pressures. a major factor is how well the factory cleaned the paint lines because they use the same lines to spray other colors. we had a same issues on a truck back in auto body school in a green metallic color. i think we had to spray the part in a checkerboard pattern to get it to blend into the rest of the panel. pearls are a nightmare in the autobody world.
