I couldn't agree more with regards the My Spin App, room for a massive improvement. Like you, i prefer to use my phone mounted to the head stock, mount was from Evo Tech, really good quality Quad lock mount. My bike returned 48.7 mpg running in up to the first 500 miles and still showing 47.2 mpg taking up to 8500 rpm. Once again like yourself, i would say this is probably the most comfy bike i have ever had or rode. And the handling is excellent. allowing for what the bike is and lets not forget the cost. I defy anyone to find a new bike that can light them up smiles per pound like the GT. I am sick of hearing people say, it hasn't got shaft drive, pillion seat is to small, no top box, etc etc. Well they are looking at the wrong bike...Buy a Goldwing!

" I defy anyone to find a new bike that can light them up smiles per pound like the GT", You know this is Subjective right? Yamaha Fanboys will say the same about the MT series or KTM users will claim the same. Almost every bike makes the owners smile with Joy.

I was hoping to give the new GT a go but at the time there were none available in the US. From the pics I've seen and the reviews on YT, including yours, Suzuki really did a great job with the sports tourer platform. I ended up with a low mileage 20' Kawasaki NK1 and really love it. Their connectivity app, like Suzuki needs a lot of work. Really fiddley I hope at some point I get to take the GT spin. My first bike was a SV650 so I have a soft spot for the Suzuki brand. Great review of an awesome machine. Ride safe and Cheers from the US! SUBSCRIBED!!

hi I have now had my suzuki since 5 th april now done 3700miles new tyres next week I have been ridding for over 50 years and have ownes dozens of bikes some good some bad But I can safely say this is the best bike I have ever owned. It has its faults front brake need a lot of pulling to get the best from it ..seat is sore after 120 miles No centre stand But on the plus side I get 180 miles from a tank The engine is fantastic it will pull from 0 Ilove the looks and at the price its unbeatable

This maybe the next bike, I keep getting drawn back to it. I like the idea of a sports tourer over an ADV bike, just makes more sense for the road. Love that dash in the black. Just watched your Wales tour, what a hoot, like your style, so I pushed the subscribe button. Keep up the banter, cheers from NZ

Hope you are feeling better. I’ve had six ops. I learned to be patient with the process and to give my body some space to recover. We’ll see you back on the road soon. In terms of performance, how does the GT compare with your old Blackbird? They are about the same weight. Honda claims about 10 more horsepower. I almost bought a 2001 3 years ago. Rode it around a little bit and then decided not to buy it. I rode the GT+ around a little bit and bought it last weekend. Best damn bike I ever owned.

Your cruise control wasn’t working because you were still in the break in period. It prevents you from putting it in cruise so you don’t ride for an extended period of time at a set rpm which isn’t good for a new engine.

@@bikemaddan9311 Interesting my other half bought her bike couple months back. We left a venue later than planned the other night, while 2 up, with me riding, it's first night ride. The ride home was down mostly unlit country lanes, the headlight was utterly useless. Worse than my old FZS600 boxeye and they were bad enough! There was no nearside kerb or road illumination, the highbeam was for space ships. Trying to establish whether the light is just crap or badly set, being a new bike it shouldn't be the latter. Any chance you could do a short night ride vid?
