    Called it! Brake switch/sensor thingy. I'm happy for you that you got it fixed and know what the issue is now.

    I really enjoy your content and your honesty, and even though I own a Beemer I've watched most of your videos. If I could have another bike it certainly would be a GT. Good timing for your surgery during the off-season for biking which gives you something to look forward to during recovery. Get well soon and God Speed!

    Good morning Dan, glad to here you got CC sorted. Actually used mine yesterday but don't use it a lot feels weird to me on a bike but it worked this time.Even got my phone connected to my sena headset playing music off spotify ( not through the bike) and my phone connected to the bike, my spin map on as well but I haven't got the premium yet so not sure about it at mo.I do find the headlight not great way to high and patchy,my dealer going to check when in for 1st service. Hope all goes well with operation, look forward to more vlogs, take care stay safe 🏍 👍

    My CC icon flashed 3 times after I adjusted the rear brake pedal. I lowered so much that the rear brake light stayed on...tricking my CC into thinking I was braking. Had to bring it back up to stock level. Same thing happened on my KLR...had to stretch the spring that enables the brake light. Ill try the same on the GT cuz I liked the rear pedal being lower.

    Good fix. I guess it shouldn’t have been anything more complex than that. Reminds me of when I adjusted the brake lever on my last bike to improve braking… but what I didn’t realise was it put my brake like on all the time. I spent a while trying to fathom is out and then the penny dropped it was all my doing lol. Good luck with you health dude..hope you get sorted 👍🏻

    Hope your op went well today. I nearly bought one of these in a full black carbon edition with rim decals also. Took a decent demo ride through mountains where handled well with no adjustments to handling front or rear. On high way riding could not engage cruise control. The light was on but the left switch would not engage. Also i found the brakes a bit 'wooden' with too long a progression to full bite. Swap out rubber brake line and pads would imo improve things greatly. I didn't buy for these reasons mostly. It handled almost as well as my BMW but the brakes dont come close in comparison. Hope your recovering well and not hampered when you get back on bike.

    had a similar issue. my Cruise control worked great, road it to a mechanic to look at a NOISE issue when starting. as he was looking he noticed the clutch handle was loose. he tightened it for me. after i left the cruise control would NOT stay on. when I got home I checked out the wiring.I didn't find anything. I noticed the clutch handle was a little to high up for me. and I moved it down a bit,,,and now the cruise control works fine. I'm guessing the handle had a wire in a bind.

    I had an issue with the quick shifter and it turned out that I damaged the clutch switch when I installed an aftermarket clutch lever. My mechanic was able to troubleshoot the issue.

    Hello Dan. I’ve just stumbled across your channel, nice vids. I’ve got a CB1000R 2019 model but I’m going to need to do the occasional long journey which as you know is not the CB1000R’s forte. I too am looking at the GSXS1000GT. Are you happy you made the swap? All the best.

    Hi, I did the NC500 on my 2019 CB1000r with the help of sw motech fitted panniers but that was what made my decision to change bikes, The GT has a similar seating position but far more comfortable, and I’m not disappointed absolutely love the bike, mileage range, power etc etc. take a demo for a day

    Hello, does the "resume" button work after a stop (traffic light)? It doesn't record the speed when I stop. I wanted to know if this was the case for everyone.

    @@bikemaddan9311 Hey, I said the same thing to myself. Because my friend's BMW resumes the set speed after a short (or long) stop at a red light. And also, sometimes I have the same problem as you: I have to restart the engine to activate cruise control. But it's very rare tbh

  • @bikemaddan9311

    @jrjohnny6734 once on the move again the from a long stop you have to be in at least 2nd gear and above 3000rpm before cc will engage. Also if your cc is intermittent I would get the rear break switch replaced or adjusted under warranty.

    Personally I would have simply disconnected the bloody switch if that were possible I mean who cares? I virtually NEVER use my rear brake alone so no harm

  • @bikemaddan9311

    @bikemaddan9311

    Why buy a new bike and then disconnect the switch rather than get it fixed? Experienced advanced riders nearly always use the rear brake alone.
