    Had my GT+ 15 days, I've tried the cruise control a few times, intermittently worked, flashes 3 times when it won't work, but I'm rarely on a road I can use it on but will try more once run in, don't have any maps as yet, but I'm on Android phone so might not bother. Think Suzuki better sort problems out quick or sales will slow rapidly. Which be a shame as it's a lovely bike. Take care stay safe 🏍 👍

    If the software is bug free, then maybe it's a faulty sensor on the bike that's effecting the cruise control? If there are bugs in the software, you wouldn't expect it to work at all. It seems that some bikes have the problem, and some don't. Maybe a bad batch of bad sensors were fitted? Very annoying though on a new bike, that's why I buy from a local dealer these days, my last one, a Yamaha dealer, was nearly 30 miles away!

    Has anyone bought the SERVICE MANUAL and tried going through the troubleshooting steps for the cruise control? I mean that is all the dealership would do. Also, the Ninja 1000SX had a similar issue with the cruise control and it was a brake sensor that would stay on even though the brakes were not applied. That is probably what is happening since it is intermittent.

    Hi, yes buddy tried everything, Suzuki have now agreed there is an issue with the cc and are currently working on a fix 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I have had my GT about three months now , I haven't to date had a problem with the cruise control although it is something I don't usually use to be honest (not even in my car) however having seen on you tube about your problem I have been testing mine under varying conditions to try and replicate your problem, so far no problem. Without doubt yours is faulty for whatever reason and Suzuki should sort it. When they say they haven't had any other complaints, a common response to avoid responsibility from many sellers, they are effectively inferring that you are making it up, hoping you will go away doubting your own sanity, which is very insulting and yes very bad customer service. Unfortunately the truth is the more technology that arrives on new bikes, and cars for that matter, when it goes wrong the dealers don't have the knowledge to fix it hence they avoid responsibility. Sad state of affairs

    You’re right that Suzuki customer service is lacking. I’ve been a long loyal customer having bought a GSXR previously but Suzuki have certainly given me the run-around with this bike! I’ve only just recently managed to get my panniers on Friday 26th August after picking the bike up on the last weekend of May. Although I’m still waiting for my heated grips. Another shocker is that the Suzuki dealer I bought my bike from doesn’t have their workshop open at weekends. I’ve experienced the quick shifter engine cut-out twice, but once was changing from 3rd to 4th gear and the second time was riding in 4th gear. I thought I had not put enough pressure on the gear selector, so thanks for that and I’ll keep an eye out if it happens again more frequently. I still haven’t sorted how to change the orientation of the map so it points in direction of travel. Do you need a subscription to Sygic, or can it operate without a subscription? I’ve also got an iPhone and would be grateful if you can please do a small demo of how to use the maps and change the orientation, thank you. Keep up the good work 😃👍

    Hi Paul, not sure if the subscription makes a Dior not but yes I pay the annual fee £16 a year I think but I’ll look into the orientation and get back to you 👍🏼

    Noticed last night that an update was released for the app for Android, I haven't been able to connect fully to the bike with my Android phone, a common complaint, I'll try it again later today. Maybe there was an update released for iPhone as well? Oh, and yes, I'm still waiting for the bags as well.

    @@bikemaddan9311 My 1000 GT has exactly the same problems as you describe with cruise contol, mine has 2700km, I'm in New Zealand and have logged with dealer and importer, I don't use phone, maps or apps with mine. I'll let you know how I get on with a fix.

    @@bikemaddan9311 be interesting to get your thoughts on the touring screen. I’m 5’9” so not sure if the touring screen would improve or make things worse for me. Currently I’m only suffering loads of wind noise (and no turbulence).

    @@Paulie44 Hi I am 5'9" and thought the standard screen was reasonable as the wind hit basically at neck level but it was smooth, no buffeting and reasonable noise level. However I decided to go for the Suzuki Touring screen in the hope it would be better, big mistake, horrendous wind noise and buffeting at 70 on the motorway blowing directly at the visor, could barely keep my eyes open if I opened the visor. Took it back as not fit for purpose. Went back to standard screen which is not bad. But I have now purchased the Ermax screen which I find has a slight improvement over the standard screen but looks a lot better so I am sticking with it.
