    Thank you so much for watching. Surya Kriya and Surya Shakti are more of a spiritual practice obviously physical benefits involved. It would be better to learn them in person with every detail involved.

    Mornings are the best time to do Surya Namaskar, you don't really have to do them throughout the day.

    Thanks for your guidelines on Nadi Vibhajan. Am I right if I understand that ideally this one cycle is to be finished in 10 breaths? Beginning with inhale and ending with exhale as you come back to normal position. I understand that if you need time, keep breathing in between two consecutive positions. I practise Shambhavi Mahamudra as initiated by Sadhguru in Isha Yoga. Thanks and Regards.

    I hope I got your question right, that you are asking about nadi vibhajan. As this is the surya namaskar video. Yes it begins with inhale and ends with exhale. You have to inhale and exhale as you do the movement of going up and down. While staying in the position, you can breathe normally.

    Any suggestions for sitting ardha siddhasana ? Does the heel lightly touch perineum or should there be slight pressure? I can't seem to get it right and have slight upper back pains when in the posture , any help appreciated.

    Heel should be slightly touching the perineum. If you are feeling pain in the upper back, it means your body is too stiff. You need to open up your pelvic muscles, make your SI joint flexible and also bring flexibility in the spine.     They can be close together, or hip distance apart, based on your flexibility and stability.

    Namaskaram ma'am, is it sufficient if I only do surya namaskar instead of other yogasanas. I mean stop all other yogasanas and do only surya namaskar to lose my weight?

    Surya namaskar is a full body yoga. But the answer to your question cannot be a simple 'yes' or 'no'. First of all to reduce weight you have to look on the other aspects of your lifestyle. Your eating, drinking habits, your day to day life style etc etc. Then see how your body feels after Surya Namaskar. If you pay very close attention to your body and listen to its needs you will know what is good for it.

    Do it very slow, transtion from one pose to next should be slow and steady. Then after couple of them observe your body very closely.

    It totally depends on your body. For some people surya namaskar is warm up, for others they need warm up to do surya namaskar. Try both ways and see how your body reacts.

    Instead of trying to lift up the belly, try to put only your knees and chest on the ground (when coming down from plank), keeping your belly up. Even if you can do it for 2 seconds, its fine. That is how you build your stamina. It is ashtang namaskar, so I will not say that lying down flat is OK. If you absolutely cannot do it then obviously you will have to lie down, but I would encourage you to try 2 seconds at a time.

    Hey , actually I have started doing Surya namaskar and the mistake I have done is instead of doing one or two times in starting I have done it 4,5 times regularly till two days. Now I from second onwards only I was having little pain in my abdomen region below my stomach and after three days that pain has increased little bit . Can you explain why is this happening and what to do?

    It is really hard to tell why you are experiencing pain without seeing your practice. Make sure you are practicing on empty stomach, your breath pattern is correct, and you are engaging your core properly.

    From belly, then only you will be able to bend fully, see the difference in belly fat, improve your breath etc. after practicing.

    A healthy body and a peaceful mind. But it does not mean that you follow this practice blindly. First be respectful of your body, obviously if a person is suffering from severe lower back pain, he/she should not be doing 108 surya namaskar right away.
