My dog also enjoys having her butthole shaved out (shes a pomeranian so its necessary to avoid dingleberries). Sometimes ill need to give it a clean if she does get some poop stuck around it and she always tries to sit down and licks her lips when i do it lol shes so weird.

A lot of cats actually don’t mind water, sometimes I feel like the sound of the water running, and the unknown environments scare them Cats are very very sensitive to sound, when my mom uses the hair dryer for example, they sneak around, jump if you try to touch them, and start to smack everything that they come into contact with when the hairdryer is on.

@@lexdraws1729 Yes. When I was a child, we have this one stray cat wandering in the neighborhood. We like to feed him. Once he fell to the sewers so we bathe him. He was so calm like he actually having fun with the water and the treat that comes after. And we actually bathe him like 2 or 3 more times before we move out of that house. He is so chill. Maybe because my area at that time often flood. That's why he doesn't care about water that much lol.

Cats are so unpredictable lmao mine was chill at the vet and let them take a blood draw and squeeze him to get a urine sample without complaint but he won’t let me come near him if my hair is wet and will hiss

My cat does well in showers, she just doesn’t shut up. She has to tell me her wholeee life story. She answers any questions I ask like a good kitty too

I'm very lucky to have a big boy that I got from a shelter that is almost identical (except for size), including that unusual medium-length coat and mellow attitude. My experience with purebreds tells me that they both have a big chunk of Maine Coon in there from somewhere.

Actually, cat saliva is toxic. It causes infection and can actually kill you if left unchecked. But point being, that's why cat bites are a risk for groomers. Also, they lick their claws to kill prey easier.

Chantilly cats (aka tiffanies) are the best and so even tempered. I had one and that cat was okay with everything. And they're big fluffballs of love.

I always forget that there's actual breeds of cats that generally have certain dispositions, I've always just had plain old short hairs and a couple long hairs, all a mix from different farmcats, they're a real grab bag whether you'll get the most chill cat or a feral beast lmao
