Hello everyone! I am happy to present you my short documentary without words. At the beginning of last spring, I started building a small hut in the forest with no experience. I have made many mistakes. And yet the hut turned out to be warm and cozy, I was able to survive the most severe winter frosts and snowstorms. Due to the remoteness from civilization, it is difficult for me to deliver quality materials for construction, so I use natural resources. During the year of living in the forest, I gained invaluable experience. I'm glad that I have the opportunity to share with you. Enjoy watching! Hi, friend!I watch your videos with great interes and I envy you a little.Such wonderful conditions do not exist in Central Europe. (I am from Czech republic).But I would like to give you some advice. The chimney pipe is an abundant source of heat,it would probably be better to leave it inside as long as possible!. It will give you a lot of extra heat and save firewood.But maybe for some reasons it is not possible? I wish you many happy stays!

i think the stove pipe should run inside the cabin and comeout just before the roof side so to minimaise the heat loss

I am in Texas we don’t get a lot of snow here but we do get really cold days thru winter, it’s a short winter with everyone and then snow I love cabin living, been in our cabin now for 20 years and I do live in the woods, it’s great, natural creeks, nature of all kinds it’s great, so happy for you,,, keep up the good work.God Bless

Думаю, что печная труба обязательно должна выходить через крышу. Бывает медведь ломает хлипкие жестяные трубы сбоку.При морозах это верная гибель.

Рубанком выровни доски, не чего начало есть. Будешь по тихонечку делать доски и они у тебя будут получатся хорошо. Закрепляй бревно скобами с обоих сторон чтобы бревно не качалось. И доски будут получатся ровными.

To save wood while heating you have some opportunities : 1.) It is too late to put it in the ground. So put the ground around your house ! 2.) To isolate better, you can bring out wood at the walls like wallpaper. You’re very good in handling with chainsaw, the planks can you produce out of trees cutting them. 3.) The oven looses much temperature. If you put firebrick around, it holds the temperature longer.

To dig a hole in frozen ground what ive done in the past is to build a large fire on the ground to thaw it out makes the job a lot easier. Great videos.

Try to always have the sleeping bag opening facing the exit. Allows for faster and easier readiness when asleep and some thing alerts you

use a 3 mm drill before a big screw..helps alot if you dont have an impact drill..and you dont split the wood window either:)

Very beautiful images of wild nature. But there is a Tex Avery cartoon something🤔. In the middle of nowhere tools appear out of a tiny cabin and construction materials too😲. Months in a cabin without electricity, but the drill still has its battery charged😁. And then also a James Bond something: no shower but the guy is always clean😎, just like his many clothes taken out of such a small cabin😅, like a magician's hat or a Tex Avery cartoon🤭. But it doesn't matter: it's beautiful and I love James Bond films and Tex Avery cartoons!😁👍

Üdv mindenkinek! Örömmel mutatom be rövid dokumentumfilmemet szavak nélkül. Tavaly tavasz elején tapasztalat nélkül kezdtem el egy kis kunyhót építeni az erdőben. Sok hibát követtem el. A kunyhó mégis melegnek és hangulatosnak bizonyult, túléltem a legsúlyosabb téli fagyokat és hóviharokat. A civilizációtól való távolság miatt nehezen tudok minőségi anyagokat szállítani az építkezéshez, ezért természeti erőforrásokat használok. Az erdőben eltöltött év alatt felbecsülhetetlen tapasztalatokat szereztem. Örülök, hogy lehetőségem van megosztani veletek. Jó szórakozást! Kérjük, használja a feliratokat a részletes megértés érdekében. Alul a fokaskerekre klik es jatsz Vele!!!

My suggestion is to get a metalbestos stovepipe adapter to go out through you side wall! You run the risk of burning down! Your wood was burnt when you took the pipe out…not good. 😬
