This seems intentional. They all actually look like the same face to me, even the female characters have a male face onlh with a different expression. I think it's the dev's face, and he plastered it on these low poly model to make it even more uncanny.

Moral of the story: The combo of allergy pills, booze, and eating your backpack makes any house come alive. I liked it even tho the story was a stretch. It's always great when science goes too far. There's always spiders somehow in the best games. :D

Yeah youre definitely right about Scott. He's the only corpse not seen in the chase segment, only screams are heard. The ending also implies he was killed by a human with a knife, which couldnt have been done by the monster. He also would know that the house had been demolished already, seeing as he knew the furniture was new and where some stuff was. Tldr: Scott was killed and replaced by the mad scientist who lured the 3 friends to the house.

I don't think the house ever was demolished. I think the house swallowed the construction equipment into the soil to protect itself, just like it did to the van, and that's why we can see the bucket and arm of the front end loader and excavator poking up out of the ground at 3:20.

Shoutout to the van driver he saw a giant spider house chasing a girl and still stopped to let her in

And the scariest part of this house is that its price now is over 1 million due to inflation with a 7 percent mortgage rate.

I just wanna know who sees an abandoned house that’s probably full of rotted wood or mold or whatever and goes ‘oh yeah, that looks like a good party place if I’ve ever seen one!’

It's always funny when Manly says something apathetic like, "Scott was a dick anyways."

Damn, these house mimics are getting more and more aggressive. Creepiest thing though were the boys' faces. I'm kinda sad that Amanda didn't get away. Nice touch though with the house not actually existing; I suppose mad scientist merged with the house and then orrowed underground.

The human faces on the models (especially the guys) is uncanny, but I appreciate the dance moves and like the characters! Just have to be careful when eating those backpacks. I know they're tempting but... Anyway. I did not expect that ending chase. Pretty neat game!

Oh god, it is a horror, look at Scott's face, truly terrifying.

When we hit the "military medical scientist" I was immediately "oh boy, take your bets - supersoldiers or zombies?" I must admit that the game surprised me. Not sure if this is failing or exceeding my expectations, but... that was a plot which happened.

You gotta love that they took the time to create the faces on both of the girls, but the dudes’ faces were just a PNG image that made them look super creepy and jarring.

Same! I can't even play a horror game if someone is in the same room as me. They scare me too much. I tried playing Dead Space back in the day on my boyfriend's PS3. He was sitting right next to me and I had the controller plugged in to charge. I jumped so high at one point I nearly pulled the entire console off the shelf. Yeah, "It's not so scary," my ass. I'll stick to my low stakes games, watching other people play horror games, and horror movies. I'm good. 😎

Sometimes the way manly comments on houses and their layouts makes me think that he might have studied architecture, but hey, that's just a theory

Spoilers!: Honestly Indie Horror games with a similar premise to Anatomy or the more obvious reference MONSTER HOUSE need to be more common. Plus i love the idea that the house's existance came from the fact that mad science left unchecked and infected the house into some sort of mimic. Also i love how the excavator scrap, mask and knife are somewhat important to th plot.

4:04 Tell that to the developers of Oblivion, who thought it made perfect sense to have mountain lions all over the place that attack everyone on sight, where lone wolves strike out against prey on their own instead of calling their pack, and where the wilderness is actually somehow safer to travel than the well-established roads.

I’ve always found it funny the way people sprint around in games.

This has the right tone of an old slasher movie, right up until it doesn't and that is gonna help this stand out more. I was prepared for many types of threats but not that one.

So, being an allergy sufferer, legit the 'nightmare' she had after having her allergy meds was relatable to when I was taking zyrtec. Between having a sleep disorder and being on meds for PTSD that also can cause drowsiness after taking my allergy meds I'd be asleep literally all day with many more experiences with sleep paralysis (and 'sleep paralysis demons') than I usually get otherwise. I uh.. changed meds not too long after that haha now I have two allergy meds and just take both when things get too rough. TLDR is that when that happened all I was thinking 'so the meds worked' lol

This game reminds me of the monster house movie mixed with until dawn plot xD My favorite part is probably where the house sprung up legs to chase the mc, that was kinda hillarious

Key water isn't that bad tasting. It really unlocks the taste buds.

I have a feeling the creator of the game got inspired by the Monster House movie from 2006, the fact that the house is actually alive, has kind of similiar characteristics to the house in the movie (ok it's almost the same) and the chase scene really reminded me of the movie. I loved it a lot as a kid and I would be happy if it really was an inspiration for this game.

For some reason, this game feels like watching the first three episodes of twin peaks and like 5 minutes of Fire Walk with Me

Anatomy really feels like a prequel to this game so the Monster House movie is the sequel when the house became tame and some random kids beat it.

So the four of them; drove out to the middle of nowhere, brought no food, no water and no weapons. right, what could possible go wrong.
