It is amazing to see how much work you have put into pipe and how much you have improved, I felt a lot of the women weren't competitive last year at Pipe and congrats to your hard work how much more competent you are. Can't wait till next year , you have the tools and knowledge to win it .

Looking at the WSL clip of your Semi heat, I wasn't the only one who thought you got underscored on one wave. And that would have made a difference, since the margin was so small. Keep your head up. You're doing good.

@@Lakey_Peterson Ok, I watched your heat on the rewind... Tough sledding. It looked like you were feeling a little bit shaky on a few of those... But that last second blast on the closeout section managed to deliver for you. It looks like things cleaned up and built-in in the afternoon. Kelly would have put in a big number on one, if he'd managed to land that lip line glide floater. John John was just magic. I'd recommend studying them and their positioning and their approaches to the wave and the lineup. Good luck in the next rounds.

Hello Lakey ...I enjoy your videos and everywhere you have and are and been ... Do you have a question ... You may have answered in another vid ...I see someone coming to the end of a ride and they are jumping up and down to keep going ...is this even legal ...I just think it is strange is all ...does it do anything ???

It will be nice to see some skin-face-hair-care episodes, one by one, not all in one :) Happy to see your recent YT activity, montage and content are getting better and better. You can still play with titles and thumbs. Some thumbnails show only part of the text that is hard to read. Maybe it's a vision of the designer, but :)

Was it one of the boards that you were trialling for Sunset, that snapped this morning in the free surf before your first heat? And did that affect you going into that first heat? Commentary was saying you'd have access to another board exactly the same.......but is that really true?

It was def my favorite board for sunset but my backups are pretty good also. Yep, Channel Islands have a setup over here on Oahu so can get another hopefully in a few days time

A coach at a specific break, are they hired in by the board sponsors or is that a private deal with the competitors?

4 to 6 FT swells, Ha, most of the time, the ocean was calm enough to water ski .Plus, 2 other competitors in your heat, They would never do that to the male competitors . Lakey.HI results same as last year 3rd and 9th According to announcers . (Just saw a interview by Rich Porta about wave selection. What waves is he analyzing about. Water ski conditions.). . Hopefully a good result in Portugal will bring you back up to final 5. Hang tough!! . "" Good enough never is. Set your standards so high that even the flaws are considered excellent"". D Fields
