Actually wearing a wet suit is safer then waders when going out to a bar.....That said i used a wetsuit for open water swims in triathlons but never for surf fishing......swimming out to stand on a rock for 8 hrs at night not likely that anyone with a lick of sense would do this.....but it all makes fo a good interesting story line

Only issue I have is these ppl are supposed to be very knowledgeable on stripers and yet you see them killing cows knowing the population is on a decline still 90% of these pros......
