A good hack for your surf bag is I use my kids old wiffle ball bats cut to length hot glued together for plugs etc.

Awesome review on the plug bags, my personal best is a Flatlander bag but I did have it customized for my needs, this season has been the most I’ve fished and it’s held up great, the velcro on mines I can hardly get open I’ve had it for 2 seasons, idk if he’s upgraded that I know he’s takin a lot of input from surf fisherman and implemented that into his bags, but I’ve also heard great things about the gear up plug bags, I also like a smaller bag just to make it easier for the walking the beach an rock climbing an most important is being comfortable while having all the plugs you’ll need for the day or night… I’m sure a lot of people will find this useful cause a plug bag is a must have for fishing the surf.. awesome stuff

Great channel, great content and very informative. Subbed halfway through the first video of yours I saw. I am a fellow baystater so love seeing someone sharing info about fishing my home waters. I would do anything to be able to fish as much as you lol. It’s payed off for you, you can definitely tell are good at what you do.

You do sooo much surf casting that you should be a field tester for one of the surf bag companies

I use Flatlander, Ebbpoint, and Gear up. Shoulder straps gets removed and my bags goes on a belt. These are the only 3 brands of bag that held up sliding down rocks. Please make a videos about knives!

Aquaskinz for me!!! I bought one for 140 dollars and it serves the same purpose as the expensive ones. I have a Gear up pliers holder and this is all I need. Good reviews, though.

Cool review. I recently got the ODM AIO and I cut a plexiglass to divide the large tube and it fits so many lures. Btw you can order heavy duty shoulder straps off Amazon with aluminum metal clasps that won’t break like the plastic. Tight lines.

excellent vid! I picked up the shimano to replace my old bag ( it started coming apart ) while out. it looked like the best choice of what was available at the shop. it’s not a bad bag for week-enders imo and has held up pretty good so far. Granted yours has had a much rougher life than mine has had. This kind of real world testing is invaluable in a world of hype and big claims. If a piece of equipt. can last a year or two with you, it’ll probably last decades with regular folk. Thanks!

Thanks! That’s what I always tell people. If the gear that you are using last a year or two under the conditions that we put on it. Then it is good quality.
